The actor has made significant changes to his appearance to play the intense and passionate rockstar for the film, which, for legal reasons, could not be titled Aashiqui 3. After the release of the teaser in February 2025, the audience is thrilled to see what the team has in store.

Kartik Aaryan recently hosted a celebration for his sister, Dr Kritika Tiwari. While the family celebrated the accomplishment, a viral video showed that actress, Sreeleela was also attending the party. Her presence created a wave of speculations online about the actress and Kartik being involved outside of the film. While there has been no confirmation about the same, fans have been patiently waiting to see what's next. For the unversed, Kartik will be seen romancing Pushpa 2 star, Sreeleela in Aashiqui's untitled sequel.

The film will also mark the actress' Bollywood debut and will be released on Diwali this year. In the now-viral video, Sreeleela was seen dancing with other guests while Kartik was standing behind her, recording something on his phone. In this clip, Sreeleela starts doing her hook step from Pushpa 2’s song Kissik. However, she stops when she realizes Mast Qalandar is being played and jumps aside, blushing. Kartik, on the other hand, bursts into laughter.

Netizens urge Kartik Aaryan's PR team to stop pairing him with every co-star

Soon, speculations about Kartik Aaryan and Sreeleela being in a relationship started circulating on the internet. Nonetheless, some fans were not pleased about the constant pairing of the actor with his co-stars. A user took to the discussion platform Reddit and called out the actor's PR team for linking him to every actress he works with. The post was captioned:

"Kartik's PR, if you're reading this, pls, pls chill for the sake of his career; linking him up for every single one of his co-stars is getting irritating now."

Other users also started chiming in and sharing their opinions. A user wrote, "I had commented this when she was announced as the heroine, then someone came at me saying 'there is considerable age difference, so they won't do that blah blah.'" Another user penned, "His PR needs to come up with some good strategy as this is now way too irritating!" Another user commented, "Iska harr movie se pehle, uske co actor ke saath link up ho jata hai. It was Sara, Kriti, abhi Sreeleela and lots more to go. Nice PR." A user in a long post wrote:

"Suddenly, I'm seeing all these reels of 'Are they dating? ' Who's PR can it be? Oh I know it's Kartik's. And then, in the interview, he will conveniently put the blame on the media while he is the one who initiates such things. I really think the movie will be very weak if he is again back to do PR."
