Romantic comedies have always held a special place in the hearts of Bollywood fans, and it looks like the trend is back as new rom-coms are set to grace the big screen. One such most-awaited film is Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday's Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, where they will rekindle the magic of their chemistry. While the shooting of the film is still going on in Europe, some visuals from the upcoming film have leaked on social media. Given the big names associated with the film, it instantly went viral and attracted the judgment of netizens, which is not all good. Here's what the internet users have to say about it.

Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday's look from a special sequence of their upcoming film, Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, recently surfaced on the internet. It showcased both the lead actors in dramatically tanned looks, which was different from their regular appearances. The little additions to their new look were clearly visible, with the actress having voluminous hair and bronzed skin. On the other hand, Kartik's hair had excess gel with high spikes in the stills. 

It looked like the actors were shooting for a special song with colourful outfits for Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, which is set to release on February 13, 2026. The film, which is directed by Sameer Vidwans, is being shot in scenic locations in Croatia. Moreover, Ananya's schedule for the Dharma Productions film has ended, while Kartik continues to shoot for the easy, breezy love story. 

Netizens criticise Ananya Panday and Kartik Aaryan's tanned looks 

When the leaked visuals from Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday's film surfaced on Reddit, netizens began to share their dissatisfaction with it. At the same time, a few others asked other netizens to wait for the release of the whole film before making any judgments. One netizen called out the maker's choice to use bronzer and penned, "Leave Kartik aside, but AP looks so off in this styling. What's with the fake tan and that hair colour? And those earrings aren't helping either. And that peach-coloured top/bikini, whatever. Disaster." Another user compared them to Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone and wrote, "Ranbir and Deepika Lite."

Karan Johar and Kartik Aaryan ended their spat before working together in Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri 

Kartik Aaryan and Karan Johar are collaborating for Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri after their rift on Dostana 2. Addressing the same in a conversation with Bollywood Hungama, the filmmaker explained that they internally discussed it and decided to end their rift. He acknowledged that Kartik is a big and hard-working star with a great instinct. Recalling what happened, Karan said: 

"He and I met, collaborated and decided to come together; it was all lovely. I have had, he's had issues with each other, but it's a tiny industry, which I call a family."
