She is known to be the heroine of every hit film in the 90s! Karisma was the first girl from the Kapoor clan to have stepped in the glistening world of films. She has a huge bank of hit films and a greater number of fan following that still swoon over her whenever she steps out for an event. After carving her footprint in Indian cinema, Karisma Kapoor had happily married a business tycoon, Sanjay Kapur and had embraced motherhood. Since then, she had never looked back at her decision of leaving films and there wasn't a day when she had regretted it. While her married life ended on an ugly note, Karisma came out even stronger for her kids. In many media interactions, Karisma had admitted that her family and kids were always her first priority. Well, we have to say, she is definitely acing her role as a single mother.

On March 11, 2020, Karisma took to her Instagram handle and shared a wish for her daughter, Samaira Kapoor. She shared an Instagram story of a balloon and wrote atop it, "Happy Birthday to my baby girl." Check out her wish below:
For those who don't know, Karisma's daughter, Samaira shares a cordial relationship with her step-mom, Priya Sachdev Kapur. On Samaira's birthday, Priya also shared a special wish for her. She took to her Instagram handle and shared some pictures of Samaira and wrote, “Happy Birthday to our gorgeous girl ... wow you are 15 today! On the work front, Karisma is back in front of the camera with Ekta Kapoor's web series, Mentalhood. The first episode perfectly depicted the modern struggles of mothers. In an interview with the IANS, Karisma had talked about it and said, "It (acting) is ingrained in you. It is something that never goes away. I was waiting for something really interesting. It was out of my choice that I didn't do any film because my kids were very young. It was out of choice that I wanted to be at home with my family and children."
She had further said, "They are excited that I am working again. I started working at a very young age. Everyone in my family has been an actor and contributed to this industry. I have grown up with a really strong work ethic, and I think that's hopefully gone down to my children as well."
In an interview with the DNA, Karisma had talked about motherhood and had said, "Motherhood completely changes you as a woman and your whole focus becomes your children, which I love and enjoy a lot. So I think these small initiatives which we can be a part of, which also help our children and family, means a lot. In a certain way, yes. It has definitely altered my choices in life. Work is secondary for me as a mom. It’s all about rushing back home and being with my kids. My housemaid was just calling me (laughs).
