Karisma Kapoor's Kids File New Plea Against Priya Amid Rs. 30K Cr Inheritance Case, Hearing Tomorrow

The Sunjay Kapur inheritance case has taken a new turn. It was only a day ago that the court gave Priya Kapur three weeks' time to file a proper response to Karisma Kapoor's children, Samaira and Kiaan's, plea. However, they have now filed yet another plea, and the hearing for it is scheduled for tomorrow.

Karisma Kapoor's children file another plea against Priya Kapur

In a significant development in the ongoing Sanjay Kapur's inheritance battle, Karisma Kapoor's children, Samaira and Kiaan, have now filed a new petition against Priya Sachdev Kapur. In the additional plea, the children seek to prevent her from transferring or altering any of Sunjay's assets until the matter is resolved. The hearing on this request will take place on November 20, 2025, and more details are awaited.   

This comes at a time when the legal battle between Karisma Kapoor's children, Samaira and Kiaan and Priya Kapur is at its peak. The late industrialist Sunjay Kapur's sprawling estate, worth thousands of crores, has taken a sharper turn after the Delhi High Court questioned Priya and the contentious will's executor, Shraddha Suri Marwah, for objecting to Samaira and Kiaan's request for a forensic examination of Sunjay's alleged final will. However, now, all eyes are on tomorrow's hearing to see what the court will decide on the matter.

Delhi High Court asks Priya Kapur to respond to Karisma Kapoor's children's plea

It was only two days ago, on November 17, 2025, when the court was in session for Sunjay Kapur's inheritance case. The court has now given Priya Kapur almost a month to file a reply. The plea was filed as part of a case brought by the children of Sunjay Kapur and Karisma Kapoor, Samaira and her brother, Kiaan. The kids had questioned whether the will is genuine. The will is said to deal with their father's assets, estimated at about Rs. 30,000 crore.

The Delhi High Court, in response to the plea, has sought a response from the late Sunjay Kapur's wife, Priya Kapur, after Karisma Kapoor's children moved a plea seeking to inspect the original copy of their father's alleged will. Joint Registrar (Judicial) Gagandeep Jindal has issued notices to Priya Kapur and Shradha Suri Marwah, who is named as the executor in the document, to present their responses to the court.

Priya Kapur and Shradha Suri Marwah have both been given three weeks to file their replies. The reports revealed that Joint Registrar (Judicial) Gagandeep Jindal made the decision after the last hearing. The court will hear the matter again on December 16, 2025. However, it now seems the court will be in session again before the timeline expires. The case has gotten more strained with every passing hearing.

He requested that the game be stopped and then left the ground. Soon, he suffered a heart attack and passed away.
