Karisma Kapoor was recently seen on the sets of Indian Idol 15. The popular singing reality show celebrated the centenary of Raj Kapoor. Karisma made unheard and interesting revelations about their Kapoor family. One of the fascinating things that happened on the sets of, Indian Idol 15 was that a contestant asked Karisma, about the story behind her pet name, 'Lolo'.
When the contestant asked Karisma on how she got her nickname, 'Lolo', the actress said that there was a foreign actress called Gina Lollobrigida. Karisma's mom, Babita Kapoor, then decided to keep Karisma's pet name as Lolo. In the words of Karisma:
"And my mother is a Sindhi, so we have one roti, it means loli, so we also call it Lolo. From there Lolo, from there and from here, Papa has kept it on her side."
Karisma then added that their dad, Randhir Kapoor Khan, kept the pet name of her sister, Kareena Kapoor Khan. When Kareena was born, Karisma's parents wanted to keep a funny and cute pet name for Kareena. Their father then decided to keep Bebo. Karisma added by saying:
"So when Bebo was born, everyone thought that now she should also have some funny, cute name, this Dabbu, Chintu, Chimpu, Lolo, now Papa has kept them the name Bebo."
Karisma revealed that her late grandfather, Raj Kapoor, also had a pet name, which no one on national TV knows. Karisma revealed that her grandfather was called as Raji, as he looked like a prince. This was because Karisma's grandfather, Raj Kapoor, was fair-toned and had blue eyes.
Karisma, earlier in an interview with PTI had shared that she had a very close bond with Kareena. Karisma had also called Kareena a blessing in her life. Karisma was also in praise of her sister Kareena and had said:

"I think there has never been a precedence where two sisters in Bollywood have been successful working simultaneously as heroines in the same decade or same generation. I think we have been lucky and fortunate to have had great careers."
Kareena reportedly had rejected many movies after she had married Saif Ali Khan . Karisma added in the same interview that she respected Kareena's decision. She said she was married and wanted to pick and choose the work she was doing. In Karisma's words:
"She has been that kind of person. I think, right from her first film, she has done whatever she has wanted to do in her life, and I think that is the kind of person she is and we respect that."
