Taimur Ali Khan- naam to suna hi hoga? This merely two-and-a-half year old little star kid can say this dialogue with complete confidence for he has overshadowed many celebrity kids’ name and fame. Born on December 20, 2016 to his star parents, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan, the nation has been obsessing over little Tim Tim, Taimur Ali Khan. Ever since his birth, he has been all over the internet with ample of fan pages on varied social media platforms, courtesy Taimur's fan following already! Since he has grabbed so much limelight, people have been assuming him to become an actor when he grows up. In fact, rumours have been all over the internet lately that he will be making his debut in mom, Kareena’s upcoming movie, Good News. But later, Bebo dismisses all those rumours. While everyone secretly wishes him to be an actor, his mom wants him to opt a different profession.
As well all know, Kareena is currently shining on small screen for she is mentoring Dance India Dance 7 as one of the judges. In one of the upcoming episodes, the dance reality stage will be on fire as legendary cricketer, Kapil Dev will grace the show as a celebrity guest. During the course of the episode, Kareena will reveal that she wants little Tim to become a cricketer. And that’s not it, Kareena took home a bat which was autographed by Kapil Dev, to sort of bribe the little one. Interesting, hmm! Just like his paternal grandfather, late Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, Kareena wants Tim to become a player. During an event in Mumbai sometime back, Kareena Kapoor Khan was asked what profession she would like to choose for Taimur, and then also she was quoted as saying, “I wouldn’t want to choose, I hope he chooses.” She had then added, “Well, I would want Taimur to be a cricketer.”
Adding further as to what would she like Taimur to achieve in his career, Bebo had retorted, "I would like him to do something with his life and then I would like people to appreciate him. He is still very small and he should actually be given a chance rather than having so much of this kind of pressure that is already on him. It is so scary." In the same interaction, Kareena had also spilt the beans on being a paranoid mother who wants her kid to have a normal childhood. The Veere Di Wedding actress had said, "Of course, as a mother I am paranoid. Every mother is paranoid about their child. But the more I think about it or think about putting a kala teeka or not send him out of the house, I think that is being over paranoid, so I am just trying to let him have a normal life."
Lately, in an interaction with The Times of India, Kareena has shared her views on being a working mother herself. The actress had retorted, "I have been offered many shows in the past but I have refused them because television has long working hours like (12-14 hours). I don't work beyond 8-9 hours because I am a working mother and I like to be at home before Taimur eats his dinner. That's the time I want to be around him and my family." Do you know Taimur is not allowed to eat at birthday parties and he has a proper diet plan? Well, yeah, the doting mommy herself had shared with the TOI, "So I sit on a plan also. Every month I alternate it accordingly. Whatever fruits and vegetables he should be eating in the month... he quite enjoys it. Today, he actually had saag (spinach) for lunch and he normally didn't like it but I have been shoving it down his throat. So now he's got used to it. So he actually ate the whole bowl.”
Well, only time till tell what Taimur will opt for, as his profession. But it would be great if he joins the Indian cricket team. What say guys?
