Kareena Kapoor Opens Up About Being A 'Better' Wife And Mom, 'When I Come Home..'

Kareena Kapoor reveals the reason behind being a better wife and a mother

Kareena Kapoor, who attracted headlines with her stint in IIFA 2025, sat down for a special interview with Gillian Anderson for The Dirty Magazine. She discussed her work, personal life, and perspective on different aspects of the entertainment industry. During the conversation, she revealed that her work has always positively impacted her personal life, helping her become a better wife to her husband, Saif Ali Khan and a better mom to kids, Taimur and Jeh. In her words: 

"I'm like a better parent when I'm on set because I just feel like I'm always a better mother even now and a better wife because I'm doing what I love to do the most."

Kareena Kapoor also shared that since her work keeps her sated as an individual, she can bring more joy and happiness to the table at home. Moreover, when she ends her work and returns home, she can better focus on her personal life. She said: 

"So, when I come home, I kind of feel like, OK, now I need to just be completely focused on this." 

Kareena Kapoor reveals why she pursued a career in acting 

In the same interview, Kareena Kapoor opened up about her decision to pursue acting. The Crew actress shared that after growing up in a popular family from showbiz, she naturally decided to take up acting. At the same time, she didn't just rely on her family legacy while making the decision. Rather, she also felt a deep personal passion for acting. Kareena mentioned that it has taught her empathy, adaptability, and resilience. Moreover, looking back, she feels that it has provided her with everything that no other profession would have given her.

Kareena Kapoor is the daughter of veteran actors, Randhir Kapoor and Babita Kapoor. She made her debut with the film, Refugee in 2000. Despite the film's poor performance at the box office, Kareena's work was noticed. Later, the actress starred in films like Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham…, Chameli, Dev, Omkara, Jab We Met, 3 Idiots, Good Newwz and more. Kareena was last seen in Rohit Shetty's Singham Again, co-starring Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, Arjun Kapoor, Deepika Padukone and more.
