'I Was Scared...', Kareena Kapoor Opened Up About The Attack On Saif Ali Khan At Their Bandra Home

Kareena Kapoor Khan, wife of Saif Ali Khan, gave a new statement to the Mumbai Police. She recalled the attack that took place at their home on January 16, 2024, where Saif was stabbed six times by an intruder. Kareena recently recorded her statement with the Bandra Police and made shocking statements about the intruder.

Kareena, while giving her statement to the Bandra Police, shared that the intruder was highly aggressive and had engaged in a violent fight with Saif. It resulted in the actor being gravely injured. Despite the attack, she also noted that the intruder did not steal any of the valuables that were kept in the house. The jewellery remained untouched. According to an India Today report the actress said:

"I was scared. Karisma (Kapoor) took me to her house. The attacker didn’t steal anything. Saif intervened to protect younger son, Jehangir (Ali Khan), and the attacker was unable to reach him. Saif tried to save children and women."

Kareena Kapoor deeply shaken

When the traumatic incident occurred, the family managed to sneak into the 12th floor of their duplex house. Kareena has been shaken by the shocking incident that took place at her Satguru Sharan residence in Bandra, Mumbai. Kareena's sister, Karisma, had arrived to support the actress and took her to her Khar home. After Kareena gave the statement, the cops increased their security measures at the Satguru Sharan building and at Karisma's Khar residence. 

The investigation was intensified to track down the robber. The question being raised is the motive behind the attack, as the intruder did not rob anything. Hence, the police officials are investigating with all the possible angles related to the case.

Mumbai Police suspects attacker to be a seasoned criminal

Saif had sustained multiple wounds on his neck and was immediately taken to Mumbai's Lilavati hospital in a rickshaw where he had to undergo an emergency surgery. Saif was accompanied by his son, Taimur and the nawab was drenched in blood when he entered the hospital. The cops are now suspecting the attacker to be a pretty ''hardened criminal''. The initial video from Saif's building showed the intruder wearing a dark-sleeved shirt and was making a plan to escape the authorities. The incident has left the entire nation, especially the film fraternity, shocked. Everyone is praying for the family's safety and Saif's recovery.

Jeh's nanny Eliyama Philips revealed that the intruder asked Rs. 1 crore from her

Eilyama, who is Jeh's current nanny, was sleeping with the child in his room when she saw the intruder walking towards Jeh's bed. Earlier, in an interview with the Screen, she shared that she saw a person coming out of the bathroom and moving towards Jeh Baba’s (Jehangir’s) bed when she tried to see who was there. When Eilyama rushed to save Jeh, she was threatened by the intruder, who asked for Rs. 1 crore from her. She was attacked when the man engaged in a scuffle with her, and Saif, hearing the commotion, entered the room.
