Not every pregnancy is the same as the experience varies from mother to mother! For Kareena Kapoor Khan too, her two pregnancies have been entirely different experiences. It was in 2016 when Kareena had, for the very first time, experienced the pregnancy phase in her life and now, the actress is all set to deliver her second child. Kareena had given birth to the little prince of Pataudi khandan, Taimur Ali Khan on December 20, 2016. And now, after four years of Taimur’s birth, Kareena is expecting her second child and the baby number 2 may arrive any day as her due date is in February 2021. Be it her first pregnancy or second, Kareena Kapoor Khan has been setting the standards for pregnant women high. From walking the ramp in her first pregnancy to working even in the last days of her second pregnancy, she has set the bar high. We believe that Kareena has not changed a bit in her both pregnancies. Don’t believe us? Well, this fan-made photo collage of her two pregnancies will prove it to you. In the photo collage, on the left side was Kareena’s picture from her 2016 pregnancy, when she was pregnant with Taimur, whereas, the right side had Kareena’s picture from her second pregnancy. In both the pictures, Kareena could be seen wearing shades of pink, holding her baby bump, giving similar expressions and this had made us believe that the actress has not changed even a bit.

In a conversation with Time Now Digital, Kareena was asked about the biggest lesson that she had learnt in her first pregnancy that is helping her in her second time. Sharing the difference between her first and second pregnancies, Kareena said, "I guess I am more prepared and confident this time around. I was quite nervous and jittery since I was going to turn a mother for the first time. This time around, I am way calmer and thankfully, I am not going berserk yet."
When asked if she has ever experienced bias in the industry related to pregnant working women, Kareena shared that she doesn’t understand the fuss about it. She said, "I do not understand the fuss about it. I have worked throughout my pregnancies and will continue to do even after delivery. In fact, it’s good to remain active and on your feet as it’s good for the baby’s health. I have never really experienced any bias."
Did you know that Kareena always wanted to have a girl child when she was pregnant with Taimur? Yes, in 2016, Kareena had expressed her desire to have a girl child, when she was expecting her first baby. The actress had reportedly said that wherever she goes, she is only asked whether ‘it is a boy or a girl?’ Kareena had further added that to her it will make no difference if the baby born is a boy or a girl. She had also added that being a girl, she would love to have a girl as she has done more for her parents than a son would have done. Well, even if Kareena was blessed with a baby boy as her first child, the feeling of holding him was surreal for the parents. In the month of September 2020, Kareena had shared a video on her IG feed, and the soon-to-be second-time parents had spoken about the ‘surreal’ feeling of holding their little one for the first time in their arms. When asked, “What was it like to hold your baby for the first time?” while Kareena had said, “Even though I carried him for nine months, I think every mother experiences this. I just felt extremely surreal”, Saif Ali Khan had remarked, “I think we cannot describe it in words.” (Don't Miss: Neha Dhupia Recalls Fat Shaming Incidents After Giving Birth To Mehr As She Had Gained 25 Kilos)
