Kareena Kapoor Doesn't Deny Calling Bipasha 'Kaali Billi' In Old Clip, Calls Herself 'Safed Billi'

Among the many catfights in Bollywood, Kareena Kapoor and Bipasha Basu's animosity tops the list. It all started with Bipasha's debut film, Ajnabee (2001), which also featured Kareena Kapoor Khan. If rumours are to be believed, the two leading ladies had a major tiff over their costumes, even before the film's release. This led to an ugly war of words, with Kareena calling Bipasha' kaali billi' and even slapping her. Recently, we stumbled upon a video wherein Kareena didn't deny her actions.

Kareena Kapoor once appeared on Aap Ki Adalat, a popular reality TV show that aired for just over a decade. In the show, famous personalities would be grilled by host Rajat Sharma, who acted as an attorney, in the presence of another celebrity who would be appointed as a judge. During Kareena's episode, her tiff with Bipasha Basu and alleged 'kaali billi' statement was brought up. However, the actress did not deny the allegations instead responded:

"Toh mein safed billi hu."

The clip was recently posted to Reddit, wherein netizens had much to say about it. Many were irked by Kareena's rudeness, like one user who wrote, "She was more mean and entitled than all the current nepo kids," and another who penned, "The fact that this vile woman has fans amazes me to no extent. She has slut shamed women and also has been racist!" Others showered praise on Bipasha, with one user writing, "Bipasha Basu has better features in my opinion."

During the making of Ajnabee, Kareena's designer, Vikram Phadnis, went on to help Bipasha Basu without the former's consent, and a huge fight broke out after that. It was also reported that the spat had become so ugly that Kareena called Bipasha 'kaali billi'. On the other hand, Bipasha called Kareena's behaviour 'childish' and said that she never wanted to work with her again.

Kareena went on to take a jibe at Bipasha in one of her interviews with Filmfare and claimed that the latter lacked confidence. In her words:

"She just doesn't seem to have any confidence in her own talent. In a four-page interview, she spoke about me for three pages. Why not talk about your work? I think her only claim to fame is that she fought with me during Ajnabee over dress designer Vikram Phadnis. She's given statements that I called her uncharitable names. Now, that's a figment of her imagination."

When Bipasha Basu denied having anything against Kareena Kapoor on the Ajnabee set

In an interview with Filmfare in 2001, Bipasha addressed her rivalry with Kareena and mentioned that the latter had some issues with the designer which created chaos on the sets. Adding that she had nothing to do with the matter, Bipasha said:

"I think this is a case of making a mountain out of a molehill. There were never any problems with me. She had some problems with the designer. I don't know why I was pulled in. It was quite childish."
