Bigg Boss 18 kept viewers on the edge of their seats since it first aired on October 6, 2024, and the grand finale was no different. While viewers thought Vivian Dsena and Rajat Dalal would be competing for the winner's title, underdog Karan Veer Mehra ended up taking the trophy home. However, most of his co-contestants, besides Chum Darang and Shilpa Shirodkar, were dissatisfied with the results. In what many netizens are considering a petty move, the contestants came together to celebrate the ‘success’ of ‘almost-winner,’ Vivian Dsena. However, it seems Karan Veer Mehra was not invited. Now, the latter has reacted to the same.
For the unversed, ‘Colors ka ladla,’ Vivian Dsena and his wife, Nouran Aly, held a party to celebrate his ‘success’ recently. During the same, Vivian was seen cutting a cake with a message that read, "Kings win trophies, Legends win hearts," which was a clear dig at Bigg Boss 18 winner, Karan Veer Mehra.
Vivian’s Bigg Boss 18 contestants were all invited to the party and stood beside him as he cut his cake. Notably, however, only Karan and his friends, including Chum Darang, Shilpa Shirodkar, and Digvijay Rathee, were left out of the bash.
In a recent interview, Shivkant Gautam asked Karan about the same, and the latter clarified that he had not been invited. Karan addressed the issue with maturity, saying:
"Bula lete toh chale jate, nahi bulaya toh koi baat nahi. Usme koi aisi wo wali baat nahi hai. Toh I’m sure kyuki trophy ek jane ko jeetni thi toh dusre ko bura lagna tha. Toh koi baat nahi agar bura laga hai. Kuch na kuch toh jhelna hi padega kisi ko. Mein karunga party toh sabko bulaunga, aap bhi aana please."
Soon after the video was shared on Instagram, it went viral, with netizens rushing to the comment section to share their opinions. Many labelled Vivian’s party as a ‘losers party’ instead of one celebrating his success. One user penned, “1 vs all inhone prove krdiya karanveer kitna powerful hai.” However, given how upset Vivian and Rajat’s fans were to see them lose, they also dropped comments in support of Vivian. One user penned, “He didn’t shared trophy. Karan ki marzi. Vivian didn’t invited Karan. Oh so bad!”

Following his exit from the show, Karan Veer Mehra reflected on his journey, including his high and low points, in a candid chat with SCREEN. Naming his roast of Vivian Dsena as his low point, Karan expressed his regret and wished he could have avoided the same. He can be quoted as saying:
"The task where I lifted Edin or trimmed Rajat's beard were my high points. The low point was the roast I did with Vivian, I should have avoided that."
Karan also looked back upon his 12-year-long friendship with Vivian Dsena and their bittersweet equation inside the house. For the unversed, the duo were frequently at odds, and Vivian openly declared that he didn't consider Karan a friend on many occasions. Karan shared his thoughts on the same and said:
"We had a lover's spat on the show, actually both of our definitions of friendship are very different. He thought of me as a dearer friend and I was coming from a space where I thought he was getting things very easily. But now it's a 100-day friendship."
What do you think about Karan Veer Mehra’s reaction to not being invited to Vivian Dsena’s ‘success party’?
