Karan Veer Mehra's two failed marriages with Devika Mehra and Nidhi Seth

For the unversed, the reason behind Karan's split from his first wife, Devika has never been revealed. The most the actor has said about the divorce is that their decision to marry was taken in haste, which led to compatibility issues later. Prior to their marriage, the ex-couple had been dating for 10 years and had been childhood sweethearts.

However, his second marriage with actress, Nidhi Seth reportedly ended on very bad terms, with her even describing the marriage as one of her biggest mistakes in life. She can be quoted as saying:

"That was the biggest mistake of my life. Once I realized that things weren't working out, I decided to move. Unfortunately, there isn't enough awareness in this world about certain personality traits and behaviour which can ruin relationships. We had separated a year ago. I believe that daily fights are intolerable in a relationship. And in such a situation, we can never live together. Mental peace, respect for each other, honesty and being financially capable are essential in a marriage. I feel that toxicity in a relationship should not be accepted."
