When Karan Singh Grover's First Wife Shraddha Broke Her Silence On Their Divorce, 'Had Tried..'

Karan Singh Grover is happily married to Bipasha Basu, and they have a beautiful daughter, Devi. However, before settling in with Bipasha, Karan had two marriages, both of which failed. While the actor has changed himself completely, the impact of his divorce still lingers around his public image. We stumbled upon his first wife, Shraddha Nigam's revelation when she first time talked about their divorce.

For the unversed, Karan Singh Grover and Shraddha Nigam met through a common photographer friend as they saw each other's photographers at his studio in the early 2000s. After this, they met each other at an event and complimented each other on the pictures they had seen. Soon, they started meeting each other and fell in love. Karan and Shraddha got married in December 2008. Within a year, they parted ways in October 2009. 

People were left shocked at their short marriage, and reports claimed that Karan Singh Grover was having an affair with his choreographer, Nicole, whom he met while shooting for the show, Jhalak Dhikkhla Jaa. In an interview with DNA, Shraddha first time talked about their divorce and stated that it wasn't a setback, but whatever happened was for good. She was quoted as saying:

"I wouldn’t judge it as a setback. Maybe, in the long run, everything happens for the best. A marriage breaking up is a sad episode."

Shraddha Nigam revealed she had 'tried everything' to make the marriage work

Further in the interview, Shraddha shared that she had done everything to make the marriage work with Karan, but it didn't. She stated that she didn't want to break her head or the other person's head. She said:

"I had tried everything under the sun to not let this happen. But since that didn’t work, I have picked myself up and I am glad to have bounced back. Despite all (my) efforts it didn’t work. I don’t want to break my head or break the other person’s head about why it happened to me."

When Karan Singh Grover fell in love with Jennifer Winger, got married and ended up in a divorce

Moving on, Karan fell in love again on the sets of Dill Mil Gaye. His love story with Jennifer Winget was the talk of the town back in those days. The couple got married in 2012, but within two years, they parted ways and got divorced in 2014. The show's director, Siddharth P Malhotra, revealed that Karan And Jennifer's love story started on the show, and he genuinely loved her. 

"He was, then and now, a good-looking man, a charming man and of course, he had women flocking towards him, and he fell in love. He genuinely fell in love with her. Otherwise, why would he get married? They got married."

Well, Karan Singh Grover happily married Bipasha Basu in 2016, and in 2022, they got blessed with their first child, a baby girl. On the other hand, Karan Singh Grover's first wife, Shraddha Nigam tied the knot again with Mayan Anand in 2012.
