Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai’s relationship was once the talk of the town. The duo fell in love with each other in the 90s during the shooting of their film, Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. He was hopelessly in love with the diva and was all set to tie the knot. However, destiny had other plans as his love turned into possessiveness, untimely leading to a breakup.
And now, we got our hands on a throwback video of Salman Khan from the Star Guild Awards, where he turned host and was seen having an interaction with filmmaker, Karan Johar. While talking to Karan, Salman asks him a witty question if he ever gets a chance to turn into a woman, then which heroine would he like to become?

After hearing the question, Karan promptly takes Aishwarya Rai’s name. Listening to her name, the audience burst into a hearty laughter. Hearing Aishwarya’s name, Salman asked, Karan why he wanted to become Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Karan then hilariously takes a dig at Salman and says:
“Wajah pooch rahe hain aap? Aap pooch rahe hai wajah.”

In 2002, Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai parted ways on an ugly note. Aishwarya had ended her relationship with Salman after enduring his alcoholism and abuses. In a throwback interview with The Times of India, Aishwarya bared her heart out about her abusive relationship with Salman. Revealing how Salman couldn’t come to terms with their breakup, Aishwarya stated:
“Salman and I broke up last March, but he isn't able to come to terms with it. After we broke up, he would call me and talk rubbish. He also suspected me of having affairs with my co-stars. I was linked up with everyone, from Abhishek Bachchan to Shah Rukh Khan. There were times when Salman got physical with me, luckily without leaving any marks. And I would go to work as if nothing had happened.”

During an interview, a journalist asked Salman Khan whether he had ever hit a woman. To this question, Salman Khan indirectly hinted that he never had because if he had done the same, the girl wouldn't survive it. Salman Khan's words can be read as:
"Yeah, now that woman has said that I have. I mean there was a journalist Prabhu Chawla who asked me this long time ago, so I just banged the table he got startled, and the table really broke. I mean, if I hit somebody, it's obviously a fight, I am going to be angry. I am going to whack and give it my best shot. I don't think she would've survived it."
Well, Aishwarya is happily married to actor, Abhishek Bachchan, and the couple has a daughter named, Aaradhya Bachchan. On the other hand, Salman is happily single.
