Karan Johar took to his Instagram handle on November 13, 2024, and shared a hilarious video of him roasting Maheep Kapoor. The video features Mahdeep sitting next to Karan on the couch, and Karan is behind the camera. We all know what happens when KJo has you on his couch. At the beginning of the video, Karan is seen roasting Maheep about her Louis Vuitton bag, to which she quips back, "You gifted it to me".
Karan further asks her if she feels threatened by Shalini Passi's growing popularity, to which Maheep looks at him with a surprised look and then asks him to shut up. Instead, Karan continues by saying he just wants to know Maheep's thoughts on the subject. He says:
"Okay, how does it feel that Shalini Passi is getting so much attention on this show? Are you feeling threatened?.....No, I’m just asking you tell us about your inner thoughts."

Maheep refuses to answer Karan's question and says that he is giving her a headache. Keeping the flow of the roast, KJo asks her if it's him or Shalini's popularity that is giving her a headache. Maheep also reacted to the video and commented, "I want to killll you." along with laughing emojis. Shalini reposted the video on her Instagram stories with the caption "Love these two" with a blue heart. Fans, too, are enjoying the banter between Maheep and KJo. One user commented:
