Kapil Sharma Reveals Why He Attempted For A Second Baby Within Five Months Of His Daughter's Birth

Kapil Sharma is back with his commercial reality show, The Great Indian Kapil Show, which began premiering on the internet on March 30, 2024. In the first episode, Ranbir Kapoor graced the show along with his mother, Neetu Kapoor, and sister, Riddhima Kapoor. During the chit-chat, Kapil, too, opened up about why he planned his second child within five months of his first one's birth. For the unversed, it was in 2018, when Kapil tied the knot with Gini Chatrath in Jalandhar as per the Anand Karaj ceremony. Afterwards, they welcomed a baby girl, Anayra (in December 2019) and a son, Trishaan (in February 2021).

Kapil Sharma shares why he planned his second child right after his firstborn

During the conversation on the first episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show, the host of the show, Kapil Sharma made a huge revelation about his personal life. Ranbir Kapoor asked him about the changes that came to him after tying the knot with Gini Chatrath. The show's judge, Archana Puran Singh, then directed the question to Gini, who was seated in the audience. To which, Gini praised Kapil by calling him a great husband and a hands-on father.

However, Kapil teasingly revealed that he took more care of their daughter, Anayra rather than his wife, Gini as the latter was soon pregnant with the second baby. To this, Kapil's beautiful wife, Ginni also, instantly pointed towards him and asked who was responsible for the same. The doting wife mentioned that she conceived her second baby when their daughter, Anayra was just five months old. Listening to Gini's question, Kapil stated that it was because of the lockdown, and he was home with no shoots, which became the main reason behind it. He explained how the second baby happened, and hilariously said:

"Uss samay COVID chal raha tha na. Shoot ho nahi rahe the!"

Kapil Sharma and Gini Chatrath hosted a Spiderman-themed party for their son, Trishaan’s third birthday 

On February 1, 2024, Kapil and Ginni's son, Trishaan, as he turned three. Thus, the doting parents hosted a Spiderman-themed birthday party for their baby boy. In a few glimpses from the event, Trishaan was seen wearing a Spiderman costume, while Anayra was decked up in a beautiful red-hued dress. The family of four was seen cutting the scrumptious two-tiered Spiderman-themed cake along with Kapil's mother and other guests. The venue of the celebration was decked with chains of balloons in red and blue colours and also had various spaces for children to play during the party.

Kapil Sharma once hilariously replied whether he has romance in his life

A few months back, Kapil Sharma graced Kareena Kapoor Khan’s podcast, What Women Want. There, he was asked whether he and his wife, Gini, had romance in his married life even after being with each other for quite a number of years. And his reply to Kareena's questions made everyone go ROFL. The stand-up comedian was also asked whether he is romantic in his personal life. Answering this, the comedian said:

“Do bachche hain, hamane download thode hi kiye hai.”
