Kapil Sharma Takes A Hilarious Dig At His Feud With Sunil Grover As He Returns With 'TGIKS' 3

Kapil Sharma is back with The Great Indian Kapil Show season 3 on Netflix. It was on February 3, 2025, when the teaser was unveiled. The Great Indian Kapil Show has been garnering attention, and the audience is loving it. The comedy show, which is loved for its star-studded guest list, Kapil's skills to spread laughter through his humour, witty banters and more, will premiere soon on the OTT giant, Netflix.

Kapil Sharma takes a hilarious dig at his feud with Sunil Grover as they arrived at the teaser launch event of TGIKS 3

The teaser launch event of The Great Indian Kapil Show was graced by Kapil Sharma, Archana Puran Singh, Kiku Sharda, Rajiv Thakur, and Krushna Abhishek. While the star cast of the show was posing for the shutterbugs, Kapil showcased his skills to prove why he is hailed as the comedy king. While everyone was posing, it was Sunil Grover, who was nowhere to be seen. Kapil took this chance to make a hilarious remark. Kapil Sharma took a slight dig at his old feud with Sunil and asked the team to wait until the latter came on the stage to pose with them. He said if the media witnesses that the cast posed without Sunil, then fabricated stories about the latter leaving the place will surface. After this, Sunil joined them, and the cast posed together. Kapil humorously said:

"Sunil paaji ko aane do. Phir aap likhoge voh phir bhaag gaye."

Sunil Grover and Kapil Sharma's infamous fight

It was back in 2017, when Sunil Grover quit The Kapil Sharma Show, by shocking everyone. Following the same, reports were rife that Sunil and Kapil had an ugly fight between them. Reportedly, in October 2017, when the team, including Kapil and Sunil, was returning to Mumbai on a flight, a huge feud occurred between the two comedians. As per reports, Kapil was drunk and was already misbehaving with everyone, but when he saw everyone had started taking their meal before him, he lost it and rebuked them.

It was reportedly Sunil who chipped in and tried to make Kapil understand, but the latter didn't listen and even hit him. Some sources even told several portals that Kapil slapped Sunil by holding him by his collars. Well, the duo buried their hatchet, and in 2024, Sunil returned to The Great Indian Kapil Show.

When Sunil Grover reacted to his infamous fight with Kapil

Reportedly, during a conversation, Sunil Grover was asked about this incident. To this, he said that he was also in a bad mood that day as an artist on the set died. He further stated that while he was negative, during that incident in flight, he also rebuked Kapil, as they are friends, and the latter also reacted. Sunil reportedly said:

“Main batana chahta hoon ki Australia pohchte hi phele din se hi mera mood bahut kharab tha. Hum film shoot karrahe the, film ke dauraan hamare ek artist the unki death hogayi. Mere saath raat ko scene karrahe hain agle din unki death hogayi. Main itna negative hogaya, nervous tha. Mera bachpan ka dost hai, usko maine daanta tha, usko maine gaaliyan di thi, kyuki hum bachpan se ladte aarahe hi. Kabhi news nahi aayi kyu ki mashoor dono nahi the. Usne bhi mujhe 5-6 di.”
