Kapil Sharma's Canada Cafe Again Under Attack For The Second Time, 25 Rounds Of Bullets Fired

It was on July 10, 2025, when Kapil Sharma and his wife, Ginni Chatrath's Kap's Cafe, located in Surrey, British Columbia, came under attack. It was days after the grand opening that, on the night of July 10, 2025, a terrible shooting took place. Rounds of bullets were fired, leaving holes and cracking glass. Nothing happened to the occupants of the building. Now, again for the second time, a firing happened at Kap's cafe and 25 bullets were fired. A report by the NDTV claimed that two gangs, named Gurpreet Singh a.k.a Goldy Dhillon and Lawrence Bishnoi, on social media claimed responsibility for the attack.

Gangsters claimed of calling Kapil Sharma, who didn't responded

A reported video went viral on social media where a voice mentioned of calling the target, but Kapil did not hear the ring. The voice was heard during the firing, revealing that since Kapil did not pick up the phone, action was taken. The next action will be in Mumbai. The report claimed that the Mumbai Police has been looking into the matter, and the first attack had taken place on July 10 when the employees of Kap's Cafe were inside.

Did Gangster, Goldy Dhillon, take responsibility for Kap's Cafe's second shooting?

The report did state that 10 bullet holes were fired via the window inside the cafe, while another window was completely shattered. Kap's Cafe had released a statement saying that they were standing against violence, and they always wanted to keep Kap's Cafe as a symbol of community and warmth for the visitors. In just a month, this shooting incident took place two times. The report also stated that Gangster, Goldy, claimed to be associated with Lawrence Bishnoi's gang and alleged responsibility for the attack. The claim made via an online post said:

"Jai Shree Ram. Sat Shree Akaal, Ram Ram to all brothers. The firing that happened today at Kapil Sharma's Kaps Cafe in Surrey has been claimed by Goldy Dhillon, affiliated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang."

Surrey Police Service confirms staff of Kap's Cafe have not been injured

A clip of the incident also went viral, where multiple gun shots were seen being fired from the inside of a vehicle that was moving near Kap's Cafe. Surrey Police Service confirmed the incident and also released an official statement. They assured that the officers were investigating the matter. The Surrey Police Service revealed that the incident took place at approximately 4:40 am. Their statement read:

"On August 7, SPS Frontline officers responded to a report of shots fired outside a business in the 8400 block of 120 Street. The same business was the location of a similar incident on July 10. Numerous SPS police resources and Delta Police Department units responded and while it appears multiple shots caused damage to the windows and building, fortunately the staff on premises were uninjured."

The second attack took place days after a community lunch was held at Kap's Cafe for the Mayor of Surrey, Brenda Locke and also the police service members in an effort to spread the message of solidarity and safety. Kapil had thanked them and even said that united, everyone stands against the violence. They are grateful eternally.
