Kapil Sharma, known as the comedy king of Indian Television, has undergone a massive transformation. A while back, Kapil was seen at the airport and looked fit as a fiddle. He has lost a lot of weight, and his recent video at the airport makes him look unrecognisable. Kapil has always been in the limelight because of his chirpy sense of humour. If you have seen Kapil's old pictures and videos, he was heavier, but his recent appearance at the airport proved that the comedian has undergone a complete transformation.
Kapil Sharma was seen at the Mumbai airport on April 9, 2025. The comedian had worn lime green-hued tracks and a t-shirt, keeping his look casual. He completed his look with white shoes, a fitness watch and black sunglasses. Kapil looked fit as a fiddle with his no belly fat, crisp jawline and lean physique. An earlier report by the Times Of India stated that Kapil hits the gym at 6 am. He also claimed to be lazy and not a morning person but was inspired by the disciplined life of a Bollywood actor, Akshay Kumar.
Kapil Sharma's weight loss has grabbed attention. One netizen commented, "Isko bhi karan johar jaisi bimari hue h kya." For the unversed, Karan Johar also lost massive weight and many speculated that he used Ozempic. Another user commented, "Lagta hai Rich logo ne khana band kar diya hai." A third Instagram user wrote, "Comedian ko itna slim fit nahi hona chahiye bhai... jokes khatam hojayen gya." One user also commented, "rying to compete with Ram Kapoor or Karan. Do not vanish one day into thin air with weight loss."
Kapil Sharma, back in 2022, was around 92 kg and lost 11 kg with reportedly the help of his trainer, Yogesh Bhatia; the comedian's weight then came down to 81 kg by undergoing lifestyle changes. Kapil's weight had shot a lot, and due to that, it took a toll on his health. However, his trainer shared that with the help of proper meals, high-intensity workouts and a routine, he got back in shape. His meals were filled with nutrition and he included an array of vegetables, proteins, complex carbohydrates and fruits in his diet.
Kapil's trainer shared that his diet was modified based on his body requirements, including citrus fruits rich in Vitamin C. It helped detoxify Kapil's overall system and boosted his metabolism. Kapil reportedly used to eat boiled vegetables and fish, which helped him get his protein content and also helped in fat loss. Kapil also trained for two hours every day, during which he used to do strength training and functional workouts mixed with cardio. All this helped him get a lean and fit frame.
