Kamya Punjabi is on cloud nine as her sister, Mala Punjabi, recently married the love of her life, Imran Mir. It looked like Mala's wedding ceremony was private and intimate, unlike Kamya's wedding with Shalabh Dangh. Now, it looks like Kamya has been missing her sister as she dropped a new picture of Mala, and you would say that she just looks like Kamya.
On December 12,2024, Kamya took to her Instagram handle to share a new picture of her sister, Mala, who looked like a goddess in her wedding attire. She wore a beige-hued sheer veil over her head which covered her face and completed her look with a big maang teeka, dewy makeup and a heavy kohl-rimmed look. Kamya has a strong bond with her sister who is a spitting copy of the actress. Kamya captioned the snap as, "Nazar naa lage betiyaan rani meri" coupled with a heart and evil eye protection emoji. Eijaz Khan's ex-girlfriend, Pavitra Punia commented, "Maauuuu" with an array of love emojis.
To talk about Mala, she hails from Mumbai, as per what she has mentioned on her Facebook profile and her Instagram account is private. Her bio reads, "Mala Imran" with a heart emoji. To talk about her husband, Imran Mir, is from Kashmir as per his Instagram account which is also private. Kamya on December 8, 2024 posted a picture from her sisters' wedding with a note that read:
"Meri Mala aur Mera Imran. My heart is so full, dil itna bhar aaya ki khushi ke aansoon naa ruke… u guys deserve all the happiness in the world . meri dua hamesha saath hai.. hamesha khush raho mere pyaaro. @immi.nabi @immalapunjabi Shadi Mubarak ho. P.S - You were always a family for us Imran but whatsapp ke family group meh tumhe add karne ki khushi hi alag hai."
Mala Punjabi's husband, Imran Mir commented saying that he and his wife love Kamya and thanked her for doing everything for them. He also credited the actress for their happy relationship and said that because of her, the Whatsapp family group is fun.
It was in February 2020, when Kamya, who was earlier married to Bunty Negi, married Shalabh. She has a daughter called Aara and a son named Ishan from her earlier marriage. Earlier, in an interview with ETimes, Kamya mentioned that work was always her passion and she would never leave working, as it has been therapeutic for her. She said that she could not sit at home and had to earn for her kids. However, she did have Shalabh's support. In her words:
