'Kaam Mila Kya Bhai?', Salman Khan Mocks 'Sikandar' Director AR Murugadoss And Abhinav Kashyap

Bigg Boss 19 host Salman Khan has taken over the internet after yet another explosive Weekend ka Vaar episode. By now, he has set a pattern of using the popular show to present his response to the controversies surrounding him. The recent issue making headlines involves Salman Khan being accused of sabotaging the career of Dabangg filmmaker, Abhinav Kashyap and being blamed for the flop of his latest movie, Sikandar, according to its director, AR Murugadoss. On BB19's October 12, 2025, episode, the actor gave cheeky reactions to both Murugadoss and Abhinav's claims.

Salman Khan hits back at AR Murugadoss' allegations

In August 2025, AR Murugadoss, the director of Salman's box-office flop, Sikandar, blamed the film's underperformance on the lead star. Murugadoss alleged that Salman had a habit of showing up late to the set, hinting that he was non-cooperative and irresponsible. Salman addressed it during BB19's latest Weekend ka Vaar episode and admitted that he did arrive on set around 9 p.m. However, he explained that the reason was that he had broken his ribs during the shoot.

Salman criticised Murugadoss' hypocrisy, noting that the director's recent South Indian film, Madharaasi, also performed poorly, even though its lead actor arrived on set as early as 6 a.m. Salman further alleged Murugadoss and Sajid Nadiadwala's lack of commitment. He noted that both Murugadoss and Sikandar's initial producer, Sajid Nadiadwala, eventually distanced themselves from the project, leaving Salman to take the blame. Despite the movie's failure, Salman maintained that the plot of Sikandar was 'very good'. Salman Khan said:

"Toh pahle toh ye picture thi Murugadoss aur Sajid Nadiadwala ki. Uske baad Sajid pahle kalti, Murugadoss wapas se hat gaya wahan se seedha South picture. Madharaasi karke picture unhone direct ki hai jo ki release hui, bahut badi film hai aur utni hi badi...Sikander se badi blockbuster."

Salman Khan slammed Abhinav Kashyap for his Dabangg-related accusations

Abhinav Kashyap has a long history of making accusations against Salman Khan. Abhinav's recent podcast comments included claims that Salman took undue credit for the movie, Dabangg and that he and his family sabotaged the filmmaker's career. On Bigg Boss 19, Salman delivered several messages to Abinav Kashyap over the course of a few Weekend ka Vaar episodes. Without naming him, he questioned Abhinav's career status, throwing some scathing questions at him. He asked, "Did you get work, brother?", implying that the director's actions had damaged his own career.

Salman further addressed Abhinav's comment that the actor would be on his knees for his deeds. Salman retorted that he only gets down on his knees to pray to God. Salman said that he had been advising Abhinav to focus on his own work, rather than appearing on podcast shows and making derogatory comments about others. He also chided him for badmouthing other stars, including Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh Khan. According to Salman, Abhinav's statements would further isolate him in the industry and lead to his being jobless. His exact words were:

"Ek aur hain hamare paas ek Dabangg insan. Abhi mere saath unhone Aamir (Aamir Khan) ko lapete mein le liya Shah Rukh (Shah Rukh Khan) ko bhi le liya. Maine pichhle Weekend Ke Vaar pe aise hi bola tha ki kaam karo. To aaj wapas se poochna chahta hu, kaam mila kya bhai? Unhone galat bola hai un dono ke against, toh na woh unke saath kaam karenge, na unke aaspaas wale."
