For the unversed, Khushi is Boney Kapoor and late actress, Sridevi's daughter, and Junaid himself is the son of Aamir Khan and Reena Dutta. Responding to the interviewer, Junaid was quoted saying:

"I think I am extremely privileged. I am the first-born son of a loved, rich and powerful man. I am ticking all the privilege boxes, so yeah. It's not something for me to use or not use. It exists around me, and it's the way people are around me, and I get immense benefit from it. I mean, I can, as an actor today, afford not to be on social media; I don't think other actors can do that."

Junaid Khan shares that producers hire him because he is Aamir Khan's son

In the same conversation, when Junaid Khan was asked why he thought other actors couldn't afford to not be on social media while he could. The actor responded that it was because of the exposure social media brought to artists. He further added the entertainment industry already knew who he was, and producers were confident enough that when a film was released, his name alone would be able to grab the attention of the audience. He was quoted saying:

"I think the exposure that it brings you. I mean, you would otherwise need that (being an outsider). I don't need that because the whole industry knows who I am, and producers are very confident that when a film comes with me in it, it'll get those eyeballs simply because I'm in it. So yeah, I can afford not to be on social media."
