Previously, while speaking with News18 Showsha, Juhi Parmar opened up about the difficulties and struggles she endured being a single-parent to her daughter. Moreover, she highlighted how the society has always wrongly pointed fingers at her for not just her failed marriage, but also due to her identity as a single mother. In her words:
“From society to people around me, they have always come up to me and said ‘You are doing a great job as a mother’ and ‘you inspire us’. Yes, there are judgments. There are people who will say that it must have been a woman’s fault only. You really can’t go out and change them. They need to look within themselves and understand from where so much of negativity and hatred is coming. They need to fix that. It is easy to judge and difficult to be in somebody’s shoes and understand why a decision like this was taken.”
