Jugal’s wife, Jasmine Dhillon is an investment banker based in New York, USA. She married the actor back in 2014 and has since maintained a low profile. Unlike many celebrity spouses, Jasmine’s social account is private, and she prefers to stay away from the industry and media glare.

Jugal and Jasmine’s love story

Before meeting Jasmine, Jugal was rumoured to be in a relationship with his Mohabbatein co-star, Kim Sharma. Although the two had never accepted their dating rumours, Jugal and Kim's dating rumours had drifted away from the headlines after a short span. Jugal’s paths crossed with Jasmine in the United States, where the two met through mutual friends. After dating for a few years, they tied the knot in an intimate wedding ceremony in 2014.

Jugal and Jasmine’s wedding took place in Oakland, Michigan, attended by close family and friends. Bollywood’s renowned fashion designer, Manish Malhotra designed the couple’s wedding outfits, with Jugal opting for a classic blue kurta and sherwani, while Jasmine picked her outfit from the designer’s store in Delhi. Talking about their outfits, Manish Malhotra, who could not attend the wedding, later told Times of India:

"A month ago, Jugal came to me and asked me for a wedding outfit… Since I've worked with him on a film and know him quite well, I readily agreed… Jugal wanted something very simple so I stuck to a classic blue. It was something that went well with his personality… I haven’t met her (Jasmine), but from what I've heard, she's a great woman. I'm sure the wedding must have gone beautifully and I'm guessing that celebrations will commence once Jugal returns to the city."

It was Jugal’s close friend and co-actor, Uday Chopra, who publicly congratulated the couple for their wedding. Taking to his Twitter (now X), Uday wrote:

“My friend Jugal Hansraj just got married yesterday in Oakland, Michigan, to Jasmine... wish the couple a very happy married life.”

Parenthood and life away from the limelight

After a few years of marriage, Jugal and Jasmine welcomed their son, Sidak. The couple has since been quite protective of their child’s privacy and rarely shares his pictures online. Jugal has openly expressed his happiness about fatherhood, though he once regretted not getting married earlier.

On the professional front, Jugal was last seen in Shiv Shastri Balboa alongside Anupam Kher and Neena Gupta, and in Mismatched 2 on Netflix. He is also set to appear in Naadaniyan, featuring Khushi Kapoor and marking the film debut of Saif Ali Khan’s oldest son, Ibrahim Ali Khan.
