Real Reason Behind Aishwarya Rai-Salman Khan's Breakup, Journalist Claims She Never Dated Vivek

Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai were among the most-loved couples in the late '90s. Their chemistry was beautifully portrayed in the film Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. But just like the film's story, they didn't end up together. In fact, the breakup was so sour that Aishwarya refused to get ever associated with Salman. While Aishwarya successfully ignored Salman's presence, their fans often wondered what went so wrong between them. Recently, a senior film journalist shared details about their breakup.

A film journalist revealed details about Aishwarya Rai And Salman Khan's relationship

Recently, a senior film journalist and author, Hanif Zaveri, talked about Aishwarya and Salman's breakup in a podcast with Meri Saheli. He claimed that the ex-flames were serious for each other and wanted to take it forward. However, Salman's image in front of Aishwarya's parents wasn't up to the mark, and they thought he was flirting with their daughter. He said:

"Jaha tak Aishwarya Rai or Salman Khan ki baat hai duno is pyaar mein serious the aur duno chahte the yeh ho jaye. Par kyunki Salman Khan par dusri heroines ka laga hua tha, Somi Ali, Sangeeta Bijlani unke girlfriend ke roop mein. Yeh baat ko dekh kar jo Aishwarya Rai ke parents the vo Salman Khan se itne khush nahi the." Unko lagta tha ki shayad humari beti ke sath flirt kar raha hai."

Salman wanted to get married to Aishwarya, but she wasn't ready as she had a lot of dreams to fulfill in her career. However, things went kaboom when Salman one night entered Aishwarya's building and created a scene by knocking on her door. After which, Aishwarya decided to end their relationship. The journalist was quoted as saying:

"Or dusra ka yeh hogya ki Salman Khan chahte the jaldi se shaadi ho jaye or Aishwarya Rai us mukaam pe thi ki itni jaldi shaadi karke vo settle nahi hona chahti fir us duraan duno mein thura sa rift aaya tha. Fir ek roj Salman Khan jo hai unki building mein jaa kar unke darwaaje ko jor-jor se khat-khataya aur drama create kar diya, jis wajah se unke padosio ne bhi unke khilaf interviews diye aur paper mein aaya. Yeh cheeje Aishwarya Rai ko bahut khali aur unko laga ki yeh mere liye theek nahi hoga or vo khud hi isse backout ho gayi."

Aishwarya Rai and Vivek Oberoi was never in relationship

Further, in the interview, Hanif shared that Vivek Oberoi created the whole relationship fiasco between him and Aishwarya, which wasn't true. They were never together, he was only helping her when she got a fracture. Vivek even did a press conference and gave interviews against Salman. The journalist shared:

"Iske baad Aishwarya Rai ki jindagi mein bataya jata hai ki Vivek Oberoi aaye, yeh total fake hai. Fake hai. Mai apko bata dun Aishwarya Rai ko facture hogya tha toh yeh Vivek Oberoi unko help karna hospital lekar jana wheel chair pull karna. Aur Vivek Oberoi isko banana chahte the. Vo aisa show kar rahe the ki Aishwarya Rai unke liye pagal hai, aisa kuch bhi nahi tha. Aur Vivek ne is cheej ko madhyanajar rakhte hue, Salman Khan ke khilaf press conference bula kar interviews bhi de dala. Or yeh cheej Vivek ko bhari pada or yeh galat hai kisi ladki ke baare mein aisa bolna ki vo mere se pyaar karti hai. Bilkul kahi bhi nai tha total fake hai yeh create kara hua."
