The news was confirmed by his family, who revealed that he passed away surrounded by his loved ones. John had played a significant role in shaping the band's signature rock sound and hits such as Nights in White Satin and Isn't Life Strange. But behind the success of the singer in the music world was his lesser-known wife, Kirsten Lodge.

Kristen Lodge was a quiet force behind the success of John Lodge's extraordinary career. The couple had tied the knot on September 10, 1968, and remained together until his death in October 2025. Although John lived much of his life in the public eye, Kirsten preferred to stay behind the scenes and look after his family. What was the cause of John Lodge's death?

John Lodge was born in Birmingham, England. He had joined The Moody Blues in 1966 and became one of the most popular singers and songwriters in the band. He played a crucial role in creating some of their biggest hits, such as "Days of Future Passed" and "Seventh Sojourn." The singer's family has not revealed any cause for his demise, but they revealed "John peacefully slipped away surrounded by his loved ones and the sounds of The Everly Brothers and Buddy Holly."
