It was in the middle of 2023 that NBA player, Jimmy Butler was linked to Colombian singer-songwriter, Shakira. They were also captured in other outings, which eventually led to social media buzz that Shakira might be starting a new romance with Jimmy. Their romance rumours were fueled further when the singer appeared courtside to show her support for Jimmy during a Heat game. Many weeks after their rumoured romance stayed in the headlines, Jimmy took it upon himself to reveal his relationship status with Shakira.  

During an interview with Rolling Stone magazine, Jimmy dismissed the possibility of romance with Shakira, stating that people “just make things up because we are friends.” He clarified that just because they were caught hanging out together doesn't mean they're a couple. Praising the singer as a “great human being and incredibly talented,” she revealed that it's her kids who are big fans of his games. That was the sole reason she attended Jimmy's game, and it doesn't mean that they are dating.

Adding to the list of high-profile names that Jimmy Butler has been linked with, he was rumoured to be in a relationship with famous singer and actress, Selena Gomez. It all started in 2020 when paparazzi cameras caught the pair dining together in New York. Soon after their sighting, the media started describing their outings as casual dates. Unfortunately, we could not verify how long they were in a relationship for, or if they were even dating at all.  

Jimmy Butler dated and shares three children with Kaitlin Nowak 

One of Jimmy Butler's most notable relationships was with Polish-American model and influencer, Kaitlin Nowak. The rumours of them dating started circulating in 2019. It is worth mentioning that in the same year, in October, Jimmy and Kaitlin welcomed their first child, a daughter named Rylee. A few years later, Jimmy became a father again, this time to their son, Brayan. According to reports, he was born at the beginning of 2023. Both Rylee and Brian have appeared alongside their father in his 2024 Netflix documentary, Starting 5. Later, a third child, Kian, was born to the two. Sadly, Jimmy and Kaitlin have ended their relationship and are engaged in a paternity battle, as per reports.
