Jibraan Khan, best known as the child actor in the 2001 hit film, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, is back with his new film. His cute looks, sweet antics, and subtle style had won the hearts of fans back then. Since then, his pictures often went viral. He stepped away from acting, and fans waited for him to be back on-screen for a long time. He recently sat down for an interview with The Free Press Journal, where Jibraan revealed that he auditioned for a Student of the Year 2 role and didn't get the role.
Jibraan Khan revealed that he was actively trying to approach filmmakers to get acting opportunities and gave several auditions. Among them, he gave audition for a role in Student of the Year 2. However, he didn't get the part because he looked younger than Tiger Shroff, who played the male protagonist in the film. He was quoted as saying:
"I have never shied away from asking for an audition. I did audition for Student of The Year 2 but it didn't work out as I looked younger than Tiger Shroff."

Jibraan Khan made his big-screen debut after Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. He continued to work on a couple of films and then took a break from acting. When planning to make his big screen debut, he faced problems finding the right project. At the same time, Jibraan prepared himself to be a mainstream actor by improving his physicality and acting skills. The actor, now seen in Ishq Vishk Rebound, feels he was destined for this role.
Jibraan Khan shared that he has an interesting connection with co-star, Pashmina Roshan. Pashmina is the daughter of music composer, Rajesh Roshan and cousin of superstar Hrithik Roshan. Jibraan revealed that his father, Feroz Khan, played the villain in the film, Karan Arjun, and Pashmina's father composed its music.

Jibraan played the role of Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol's son in Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. Since he is now returning in a full-fledged role, the actor was asked about his experience working with SRK and Kajol at the trailer launch event of his new film. Jibraan acknowledged that it was an honour and privilege to have played the role of their child at such a young age. He added that he had received unconditional love for his role all these years and hopes that the same would happen with his new film, Ishq Vishk Rebound.
