Especially as she gets the sweet revenge for her botched plastic surgery and a cheating ex in Hulu's legal drama. Jessica marked her acting comeback with the show, and it's safe to say she's given it her all.

The fashion designer and actress, Jessica Simpson, returned to acting in Ryan Murphy's latest drama. She appears in the episode of All's Fair, in which she portrays a love story that appears to be inspired by Tommy Lee and Pamela Anderson's romance. During the episode, her character addressed the botched surgery while explaining how her "marriage was at stake." She is quoted as saying:

"We've been married almost 3 years. I knew he had had one affair — probably more. So when he had told me to get plastic surgery, I couldn't say no."

Jessica Simpson's 'toxic' revenge on ex-husband

In a flashback, viewers see how Jessica Simpson's character falls in love with a musician at a rock concert. The fictional couple went on to strike up a steamy physical relationship before the rock star told Jessica that she needed to have plastic surgery after she turned 40 years old. However, things went south as her surgery was botched. Nonetheless, even after the procedure went wrong, she later won big in her legal battle.

Later in the episode, Jessica Simpson's character finally gets her revenge. However, not in the best sense, as she doused her ex-husband in sulfuric acid after she caught him on a date with a younger girl. Jessica had previously teased her drastic transformation in the series in May 2025. During a conversation with Entertainment Tonight, she said she underwent "eight hours of prosthetics" for the "very intense" role.

Jessica Simpson appeared in the series as a new client of an all-female law firm run by 'Allura Grant' (Kim Kardashian), 'Emerald Greene' (Niecy Nash), 'Dina Standish' (Glenn Close), 'Liberty Ronson' (Naomi Watts), and 'Milan' (Teyana Taylor). All's Fair's official synopsis stated:

"All's Fair follows a team of female divorce attorneys who leave a male-dominated firm to open their own powerhouse practice."

The episode comes as Jessica Simpson navigates her split from estranged husband, Eric Johnson, after a decade of marriage. The Dukes of Hazzard actress announced her separation from Eric in January 2025. She revealed that she and the former football player were "navigating a painful situation" in their relationship. In a statement to PEOPLE, she stated:

"Our children come first, and we are focusing on what is best for them. We are grateful for all of the love and support that has been coming our way, and appreciate privacy right now as we work through this as a family."

All's Fair marks Jessica Simpson's return to business after 15 years. She also announced her return to music after the long hiatus. In January 2025, a source close to Page Six revealed that the singer was turning her heartbreak into motivation. Jessica Simpson released Nashville Canyon, Pt. 1 in March 2025 and Nashville Canyon, Pt. 2 in September 2025.
