Jemimah Rodrigues has once again proven why she is one of the biggest young stars in Indian Women's cricket. She sealed a stellar win at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai after smashing a match-winning 127 not out against Australia. At just 24, Jemimah played the central role in helping India chase down a target of 339, the highest ODI World Cup Knockout. While the budding cricket star has etched her name in golden letters in the history of women's cricket, much of her personal life remains behind the scenes. Here's everything we know about Jemimah's personal life and family until now.
Jemimah Rodrigues' rise in the Indian Women's cricket scene has naturally sparked a curiosity among fans about her relationship status. Interestingly, she herself opened up about her dating life in a podcast with Ranveer Allahbadia a few months ago. The 24-year-old once candidly revealed that she has been single all her life due to her intense focus on cricket during her teenage years. As a result, she had no time to devote to her relationships or personal life. However, the fact has left her with a sense of regret. In her words:
"Sometimes, I regret not having someone to share my thoughts with."

Jemimah mentioned that having a partner can be comforting on tough days. Yet, she acknowledged that on the flip side, it could be a distraction from her goals. Furthermore, she mentioned that she would like a partner who likes her for who she is, not for her identity or achievements as a cricketer. Additionally, Jemimah shared that many of her teammates met their partners on Instagram or at college, yet she has only focused on cricket. Contrary to her teammate, Smriti Mandhana, who has openly admitted to her relationship with Palash Muchhal, Jeremiah prefers to keep her personal life private.

Jemimah Rodrigues comes from a Mangalorean Christian family based in Mumbai. She is the daughter of Ivan and Lavita Rodrigues, where she grew up with her two brothers, Enoch and Eli. Her father, Ivan Rodrigues, is a former club cricketer and long-time coach who has been the biggest source of influence and inspiration in her cricketing journey. He even founded a girls' cricket team at her school and personally coached his daughter since her childhood. While her mother, Lavita, is a nutritionist and sports enthusiast who has equally supported her daughter's journey. Their family moved from Bhandup to Bandra to ensure she had access to better sporting facilities, and the decision has clearly paid off.

Jemimah Rodrigues's cricketing journey is nothing short of an inspiration for budding cricketers. She made her debut for India at the mere age of 17 and soon became a key part of the national batting lineup. The 24-year-old made several domestic records, including a double century in 2017 against Saurashtra, which brought her into the spotlight. Since then, Jemimah has represented India in ODIs, T20Is, and Tests. She has even played for global franchises, such as the Brisbane Heat in the WBBL. However, it has her World Cup 2025 semifinal knot, which strengthened her legacy. Sharing her emotional struggle behind one of Indian cricket's greatest victories, she said in her post-match speech:
