'Who Said That'? Jaya Bachchan REACTS When A Pap Told Her, 'Looking Nice'

Jaya Bachchan has been known for her rude and sweet relationship with the paparazzi for years. She began her Hindi cinema journey with the movie, Mahanagar and then went on to give some blockbuster hit movies in the Hindi film industry. Jaya, apart from carving a niche in the film industry, is a proud mom of Abhishek, Shweta Bachchan Nanda and is also into politics. Recently, a video surfaced where Jaya had a shocking reaction when she was told by a pap that she looked nice.

Jaya Bachchan grabbed the limelight when a pap commented on her appearance

Jaya has always caught the paparazzi's attention because she seems to be mostly angry at them. It was no different recently when Jaya was spotted at an event and the paps told her 'namaste' to which she replied, 'namaste'. When a pap told her she looked nice, Jaya stopped moving and said:

"Huh? Who said that? You did? Wow, nice".

The pap who commented on Jaya smiled as it was not often that the veteran actress gave a smile to the paparazzi. Jaya looked cute in a yellow kurti with a flower-like design band around her neck. She had her phone held in her hand and had kept her white tresses open. Even the lady standing next to Jaya could not stop smiling at the reaction of Jaya. The veteran actress was shocked to hear the pap comment that she looked beautiful.

Jaya is always seen in a bad mood with the paparazzi. However, a user after seeing the clip, commented, "Shukar manao buddiya ka mood acha tha." Another one wrote, "Aag se khelna bhari padega ekdin." One also wrote, "Aaj budiya ka mood acha hai. Varna baat karnay ki tamij nai hai isko." One even commented, "Ghamand pura bhar bhar ke pata nahi kya karegi itni ghamand ki. Pity on Amit Ji kaise jhelte hain is auraat ko 24x7."

When a journalist spoke about the negative public image of Jaya Bachchan

Once, a senior journalist from the press was asked about Jaya's public image being negative in a podcast. She said that Jaya is warm to all and talks with respect and manners. The journalist remembered a time when the paparazzi put the flash on in the camera, and it hurt Jaya's eyes. Her reaction was blown out of full proportion, and the journalist quipped:

"Everyone is normal and they speak nicely only, Jayaji is also very warm and nice, she is very sensitive. Once when the camera was flashing in her eye, I saw it was the photographer’s mistake. Now, if you react a certain way and it gets blown out of proportion then it is in nobody’s control. It has become a game for the media, the paparazzi, whether it is Uorfi Javed or anybody else."

The journalist revealed Jaya has a personality of her own and has had an old relationship with the paparazzi. If Jaya likes a pap, she would talk politely and if she does not like the person, she will not even recognise the person in the media. Jaya has been speaking to the paps way before Amitabh Bachchan stopped talking to the media. Jaya's nature to be irritated by the paps never goes unnoticed.
