Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bhaduri were the most successful superstars of their generation and when the two influential personalities tied the knot, everyone wanted to know more about the Bachchan family. Till date, Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan have not lost their charm and are considered one of the most loved couples and versatile actors in tinsel town.

In 2007, their son, Abhishek Bachchan had got hitched to former Miss World, Aishwarya Rai. Their union had happened behind closed doors, but the over-enthusiastic paparazzi had tried their best to get glimpses of their marriage. In a recent podcast, Jaya revealed how her hubby had lost his cool as a photographer could have died trying to capture his newlywed bahu, Aishwarya, before her griha pravesh

In Navya Naveli Nanda’s podcast, What The Hell Navya, her granny, Jaya was asked about the relationship between the Bachchans and the press. Answering this, the veteran actress recalled a horrifying incident from Abhishek and Aishwarya’s wedding day, when Amitabh was driving the car, and Aishwarya was sitting in the back seat. However, a highly passionate photographer had jumped on the car's bonnet to capture the newly married dulhan, Aishwarya. In her words:

“When Mamu (Abhishek) got married, the day we were bringing Aishwarya to the house for the ‘griha pravesh’, nana (Amitabh) was driving the car. She was sitting in the car. We had created a special podium for the media, so that they could take their pictures. They were not happy. One guy jumped on the bonnet of the car. He could have died. Can you imagine? Nana lost his cool, and our security guys took these people on. By the evening, media took out a ‘morcha’, and they were throwing stones.”

In the same conversation, Jaya expressed her dissatisfaction and asked who gives such rights to the media. She said that the photographer could have died that day, and the blame would have been on Big B. Jaya can be quoted as saying:

“Who gives you this right? And can you imagine if that guy had died what would have happened? They do it all the time. Every time we’d go out of the gate, have you seen how they jump on the car? It’s not nice. And then they’ll make another story, and something else will come out.”

Jaya does not believe in mincing her words and always portrays her true self publicly. We often spot her having ugly encounters with the shutterbugs as she screams at them for roaming around her, asking too many questions. Recently, at the Lakme Fashion Week, Jaya had shouted at the media and wished they doubled and fall. In the video, we could spot her niece, Navya trying to calm her granny but failing to do so.
