Laagi Tujhse Lagan actress, Mahhi Vij and her husband, Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil actor, Jay Bhanushali are on cloud nine these days. The couple is soon going to embrace parenthood for the first time to their biological child. The reason why we are mentioning this is because Jay and Mahhi are already parents to their adopted kids, Rajveer and Khushi. Right from getting married to each other in a secret ceremony in 2011 to tying the knot again in a destination wedding in Las Vegas in 2014, Jay and Mahhi have come a long way. The moment a couple gets the news of their ‘joint production’, their happiness knows no bounds. More so, the father-to-be feels super-excited and starts prepping up for the big day when the baby will be all cuddled up in his arms. Right from buying toys and gifts for the little one to taking care of the mom-to-be and his better-half all throughout those nine months, an expecting couple does it all! Same has been the scenario with Jay Bhanushali, who wants to help Mahhi in every way possible and who also wants to be a doting father to their biological child.
Talking about how it feels to be a father to their first biological child, Jay recently poured his heart out and had shared, "It is a fascinating feeling to be a parent all over again and it is even more thrilling because this is our first kid together.” Just like a doting husband, Jay further reveals that he wants to help Mahhi in whatever way possible and reveals that he is taking lullaby lessons. Quite serious preparations going on, right? The Hate Story 2 actor was quoted as saying, "I want to help Mahi in whatever ways possible. I would want Mahi to take complete care of herself and our baby, so to help her not missing out on her sleep later in the months, I am learning lullabies and practicing it daily." Announcing Mahhi’s pregnancy news, the couple had chosen a fun way. They had taken to their respective Instagram handles and shared a picture in which we could see their birth years chalked out in front of them as they stand holding each other’s hands, and a pair of baby shoes in front of which, “2019, COMING SOON” was written. Jay had captioned the post as, “There once was a girl n that girl met a boy they found living as two was a life full of joy these two happy lovebirds this couple this pair were snug in their nest but they thought it quite bare they cuddled up closer made room in their tree and their joy overflowed when two became three WHEN TWO BECAME THREE @ijaybhanushali.”
On the other hand, Mahhi had written, “9 months of pain, but a lifetime of gain. 9 months of sickness, but a lifetime of happiness. 9 months of pregnancy, the beginning of our legacy. Talking about their adopted kids, Mahhi had once shared that they will keep giving their best to them, “A lot of people keep asking my friends if they are our kids because we feel that they are our kids. We want to give them best in our capabilities. I don’t care what people say they have all the time in the world to talk. They stay with us we have no issues of them being a part of our space. Kids are adorable, Jay and I love them."
In the same interaction, she had also gone on to reveal that they will never ever differentiate between them and their biological baby. Mahhi was quoted as saying, "We want to educate them and yes in future even if we have our own kids, we will give them same life. We will not differentiate." Talking about being a possessive wife, Mahhi had once retorted, “I am possessive but not an insecure wife. And I think every woman is possessive towards her husband. I don’t fear losing Jay. He can’t stay away from me for more than half an hour. My love is too strong to lose him.”
Mahhi and Jay, we are eagerly waiting for your little one to come. Also, wishing Mahhi, easy-breezy pregnancy days!
