Jay Bhanushali Narrates His Experience Of How People Still Don't Celebrate The Birth Of A Girl Child

Behind every great daughter is a truly amazing daddy, who believes in all her dreams and helps her achieve it all. No matter how old she gets, she always remains her daddy's little princess. Jay Bhanushali and his wife, Mahhi Vij's prayers were answered and their dream of nurturing an angel became true when they got blessed with a baby girl on August 21, 2019. The new parents are busy celebrating the arrival of their little princess but one incident happened which shook their belief on how people still don't celebrate the birth of a baby girl.

Jay took to his Instagram handle and narrated the incident, wherein, a couple didn't congratulate him on the birth of his baby just because she was a girl. And like in his own Jay andaaz, the actor shared a Tiktok video, and wrote a long note that can be read as "It's very strange that today in 2019 where everything in India is modernizing either in the field of technology or industrial sectors but we still live in a society where birth of a boy is celebrated then of a girl. I met a family at a waiting area, I went ahead and congratulated them and then he asked me aapko kya hua and I happily,  said Girl, he had a disappointing face and he left without congratulating me. I feel jinko ladkiyan hoti hai woh Kismat wale hote hai. I always wanted a girl. ladke generation nahi badate ladkiyan badhati hai they are the strongest. When I hold my little girl I feel content complete. So this video is to all the people who have such low thinking in life." Take a look at the video below:

Recently, in an interview with the Bombay Times, Jay had talked about embracing fatherhood. He had shared, "I can’t describe the feeling. I have just become the father of a very beautiful child and I thank God for being kind to us. She is a little angel and I can’t wait to bring her home. I wish to give her all the happiness in life, and that will be my aim now. My other two children will also be delighted to have a new member at home." (Also Read: Taimur Ali Khan Looks Adorable As He Celebrates His First Dahi Handi On Janmashtami, Video Inside)

Just a week before the birth of his baby girl, the actor has expressed his wish of having a girl in an interview with the IANS. Jay had stated, "No relationship in the world can match the sanctity of a father-daughter relationship. I wish that my wife gives birth to a baby girl. I have no gender preference and it is not that I won’t like it if it’s a boy. It’s just that I have experienced the father-son connect with my dad, and now, I want to see how a daughter bonds with her dad."

In an another interview with the IANS, Jay had shared how he is honing his lullaby skills for his baby. He had said, "I want to help Mahhi in whatever ways possible. I would want Mahhi to take complete care of herself and our baby, so to help her not missing out on her sleep later in the months, I am learning lullabies and practicing it daily."

He had further added, "It would be great if I am able to take responsibility for calming our baby in the middle of the night. I spoke to all the captains -- Salman Ali, Sachin Valmiki, Nitin Kumar and Jyotica Tangri and, they came up with this idea to learn lullabies. Not confident of pulling it off, I told them it's not possible for me to do. But they are giving me all the confidence. I told them not to force me, but they are all too excited to teach me. So, I am finally taking lullaby classes now." (Don't Miss: Ekta Kapoor Shares A Video Of Her Son, Ravie And Nephew, Laksshya As Krishna On Janmashtami)
