However, after fourteen years of marital bliss and a daughter later, buzz of their marriage hitting a rough patch made headlines. People claimed that the two have silently parted ways. Now, Jay dismissed the buzz by sharing his first post for his wife, Mahhi.

Jay Bhanushali shared his first Instagram story for Mahhi Vij amid divorce buzz

On October 30, 2025, Jay took to his Instagram handle and shared his first post for his wife, Mahhi. He re-shared Mahhi's upcoming show's teaser, and stated that he is looking forward to her new role, and he added how exciting it looked. For the unversed, after a decade-long hiatus, Mahhi is making a comeback on television. Jay's note can be read as:

"Looking forward for Mahhi Vij to shine. Looking promising."

For the unversed, Mahhi Vij is all set to make a comeback with the TV show, Seher Hone Ko Hai. In the show, she plays the role of protagonist's mother, and it seems like she will portray a challenging role as a Muslim mother fighting for her daughter's rights. The show's teaser was released on October 29, 2025, and Mahhi looked beautiful in the role, as she was dressed up in a black burkha.

It is worth adding that Mahhi had prayed extremely hard to get good work. In one of her vlogs, she expressed how difficult it was for her to get a good workflow. She expressed her happiness and gratitude for getting a good story and a pathbreaking role.

A week ago, their separation buzz re-ignited after reports claimed that they had separated in July-August 2025. When the news reached Mahhi via an Instagram post, she made sure to teach them a lesson. She broke her silence and stated that she would take legal action against the people spreading false narratives. The post was captioned as "It’s Over? After 14 years of marriage, Jay Bhanushali and Mahhi Vij are heading for a divorce." Below it, Mahhi commented:

"Don’t post false narratives. I will take legal action against this."

For the unversed, Jay Bhanushali and Mahhi Vij are the most loved couple. Jay was madly in love with Mahhi, but she didn't immediately respond to his proposal. After which, Jay took his own sweet time, even as Mahhi felt an inclination towards him. The two got married in a hush-hush wedding in 2010.
