'Saw A Picture Of Me On A Porn Site..' Janhvi Kapoor Reveals She Was 15 And Was Having An IT Class

Janhvi Kapoor has established herself as one of the hottest young divas of Bollywood. Her work in Dhadak, Gunjan Saxena, and many more has helped her set a footing in showbiz. Apart from this, Janhvi has secured numerous brand endorsements, through which she earns substantial income. Recently, Janhvi opened up about seeing her photos on a porn website when she was in school.

Recently, Janhvi Kapoor appeared on Raj Shamani's podcast, where she talked about a disturbing episode from her teenage years. She revealed that she had found her morphed photo on a porn website when she was just 15 years old. She revealed that she doesn't know if it was a deepfake, but her photos were there. She found her photos on the adult website during her IT class, as the boys used to visit those sites. Recalling the horrors he shared:

"I don't know if it was a deepfake, but it was something like that. I saw a picture of me on a porn site. We had IT class in school, and boys used to go on those sites for fun. My pictures were on there. And this was in school. So that was a weird experience. At some point, I was like — this is the cost you have to pay. There is no morality in a lot of these things with social media."

Janhvi further added that she has not made peace with all these things, as there are photos of her circulating on official news pages with outfits which she had never even worn. Those are AI-modified photos. She added that it surfaces as if she has endorsed it. She added that if she tried to tell a director that she is not comfortable wearing a certain outfit, they would show those photos, which she has no idea about. Janhvi said:

"I am not at peace with it. There are visuals of me out there, even shared by official news pages, which are completely AI. I have never worn those clothes or been photographed like that. It gets circulated as if it's something I've put out. That creates a certain kind of impression. If tomorrow I tell a director I'm not comfortable wearing something, someone can pull up those pictures and say, ‘But you've done this before.' Even if they don't say it, it makes you think."

Janhvi admitted that these things leave a terrible effect, but she has learned a way to deal with them. She knows that she cannot complain or raise her voice about it. So, she takes it that life has given her so much, and she can learn to cooperate with and not complain.

Janhvi Kapoor is the daughter of the late superstar Sridevi, who has left a legacy. But her untimely passing just a few months before her daughter's debut launch has shaken the entire Kapoor family. The death was unexpected, especially for Janhvi, who was all alone. In the interaction with Raj Shamani, Janhvi stated that she was dependent on her for everything.

Suddenly, she didn't exist, and she had to take her own calls. Janhvi added that she had to learn to form her own opinions. She revealed that the judgments on her family and her response affected her. People would judge her if she were smiling too much, if she looked sad, or not. 

On the work front, Janhvi Kapoor is gearing up for her Tamil debut with Peddi, opposite Ram Charan.
