Janhvi Kapoor has come a long way since her debut in 2018. The actress, who was struggling to speak her mind once in the media, is now giving courage to many other women to express their thoughts. For instance, a while ago, Janhvi clearly called out Indian paparazzi for clicking her pictures from behind. In an affirming tone, she told them not to click her picture from the wrong angle, which not many Gen-Z actresses are able to do. Recently, Janhvi talked about the same and how the paparazzi stopped clicking her pictures from behind.
Janhvi is busy promoting her upcoming film, Uljah. Recently, she sat down for an episode of The Male Feminist for Hautterfly, wherein she opened up about the pap culture. She stated that the photographers had stopped clicking her pictures from behind ever since she asked them not to do the same during one of the promotional events for her previous film. She was quoted as saying:

"I think I said something while promoting Mahi, ‘Please galat angle se mat lena,’ and since then they have been like, ‘Nahi, nahi hum peeche se nahi lenge! Are mudo mudo!’ Even if it is a demonstration, I really appreciate it."

Further, Janhvi revealed that the back shot of an actress gets them the most clickbait, so they would use those shots. The actress added that she can definitely choose how she is shown in this. Janhvi stated that paps are forced to listen to her as it is her decision and her choice. She was quoted as saying:
"They put like, ‘Guess who is this’ from the back shot, and that gets the maximum amount of clickbait. So of course they will pick on that, but I don't think that justifies such decisions. I can say that I don't like how I am being shown in this. I am not comfortable with people seeing this much of me that way. They are forced to listen to me because this is my decision and my choice."
Janhvi Kapoor also revealed that she didn't have the courage to say these things a few years back. She took pride in clearly stating her point with love. She was quoted as saying:
"Aur maine bola bhi kaise. This is also a trope that I feel a lot of women use, that I have used a lot. That I don't want to be putting off in my opinion. I want to bahut pyaar se, buddhu ban ke bas bolna chahti hoon because that is more palatable."
