Janhvi Kapoor has a beautiful acting journey filled with her own share of struggles and hard work. From being the shy girl at her first film's press conference to being the HAWT chic, Janhvi has come a long way. However, she had her own share of tough times. And the biggest struggle of her life was to cope with her mother, Sridevi Kapoor's sudden demise. Recently, Janhvi opened up about the most difficult phase of her life.
Janhvi Kapoor opened up about the biggest war of her life in an interview with Pinkvilla. The actress, who lost her mother, Sridevi in 2018, just a few months prior to the release of her debut film. Janhvi recalled her mother's demise and shared that dealing with it was quite tough. She added that finding the will to keep working during those times was super hard. She was quoted saying:

"I think definitely when I lost mom. I was shooting for Dhadak, and dealing with her loss was quite tough, and also somehow finding the will to keep working but also finding a way to deal with all of these things happening in our lives was tough. Figuring that out was definitely the biggest war in my life."

There are times when if something bad happens, we call it our destiny or our own fault. Janhvi has gone through a similar phase after Sridevi's demise. Previously, in a media interaction with Barkha Dutt for Mojo Story, Janhvi revealed that she somehow felt that she 'deserved' this, and there was a 'weird sense of relief'. She was quoted as saying:
"When I lost mom, of course, there was this huge tragedy, there was a hole in my heart. But there was this horrible feeling of ‘something bad has happened’ to justify all the great things in my life and all the privilege and the things that I got easily which I heard my entire life. I thought, 'Okay now something bad has happened. I deserve this. I deserve this horrible thing that has happened to me.' It was a weird sense of relief."
For Bollywood actress, Janhvi Kapoor Chennai will always be a place where she can find her late mother, Sridevi Kapoor's essence. After all, their holiday home in Chennai is an embodiment of the late superstar, Sridevi, and it is preserved wonderfully by her husband, Boney Kapoor. The home radiated Sridevi's energy, and this is one of the reasons why the family keeps the doors of their holiday home shut to fans, media and paparazzi.
