During an episode of Starry Nights with Komal Nahata, Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor opened up about how she envisions her married life in the future. The actress gushed her plans and painted quite the picture as she said:

"I have this plan of eventually getting married and settling down in Tirumala, Tirupati, with my husband and my three kids. And we'll eat every day on banana leaves and hear like 'Govinda, Govinda.' And I'll have mogras in my hair, listen to Mani Ratnam music in the morning, tel champi on my husband in his lungi."

However, director Karan Johar, who was also part of the interview, wasn't impressed by Janhvi's plans. He immediately bashed the idea, saying:

"What is romantic about a man sitting in a lungi and eating from a banana leaf?"

Janhvi, however, defended her plans, saying they were romantic. The interviewer also came to the actress' rescue, stating that Karan wouldn't understand the feelings behind Janvhi's thoughts and called her ideas, 'romantic at heart.'

Netizens side with Karan Johar, slam Janhvi Kapoor for being 'fake'

Unlike the interviewer, netizens shared the same feelings as Karan Johar and called out Janhvi Kapoor for being fake and trying too hard to be relatable. One user penned, "Go before it's too late. Spare us the horror that is your acting, and take your devar along with you," while another wrote, "For the first time ever I'm agreeing with karan and his expressions. I mean she is saying it is a dream but she won't adjust to a lifestyle like that for more than a week. It really sounds like trying too hard to be relatable but failing miserably."

A fan page of Janhvi Kapoor once shared a picture of the actress sporting an oversized tee with a twist. It featured her boyfriend, Shikhar Pahariya, on it! Yes, the white tee was superimposed with at least six images of her lover on it, and one was even a shirtless shot! Not only that, it also featured his name, 'Shikhar,' in bold letters. 

Janhvi was spotted in this latest addition to her boyfriend merch collection while chilling with her Bawaal co-star, Varun Dhawan. The duo was being photographed with Nashik's JW Marriott staff while in the city for the shooting of their upcoming film, Sunny Sanskari ki Tulsi Kumari, under the direction of Shashank Khaitan. That is when a picture of Janhvi's adorable fit was snapped.

When Janhvi Kapoor first openly discussed her relationship with Shikhar Pahariya

It wasn't Janhvi but her father, Boney Kapoor, who first confirmed that his darling daughter had been in a relationship with Shikhar. After the announcement, the actress was spotted numerous times with her boyfriend. In an interview with Pinkvilla's Masterclass, Janhvi was asked about her plans to make her relationship official with Shikhar, she said:

"I am very happy in my life right now. Neither I nor him has any time for multiplication right now."
