Janhvi Kapoor makes her Cannes debut in a sculpted gown that has a ghoonghat-like hood

As per Diet Sabya, Janhvi Kapoor was decked up in a customised Tarun Tahliani dress. Although it looked like a saree, Janhvi was actually decked up in a sculpted dress, somewhat similar to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's gown back in 2022, but let's be honest, Janhvi's dress is far different. The dress came in a soft pink hue and featured a corset bodice and bottoms, which looked like a skirt with a long trail.

The entire piece had a pleated pattern, which is one of the main features of the sculpted dresses. Well, there was a ghoonghat twist. Janhvi's video may reveal that she wore a saree with her head covered with the pallu, but it seems like it was actually a hood, which looked like a ghoonghat.

Well, whatever it was, Janhvi's dress choice was top-notch, and so were her jewels. With her gorgeous dress, Janhvi wore pearl jewels, including a stack of necklaces. She wore small earrings, and with a soft touch of makeup and a neat hairdo, she finalised her look. In a word, we cannot take our eyes off Janhvi as she makes her Cannes debut.

For another look, which was not for the red carpet but for an event, Janhvi Kapoor opted for a cute ensemble from the Italian luxury label Miu Miu. Her outfit consisted of a mini-skirt and top, along with a checkered jacket. She kept it chic, and finalised her look with soft makeup, open hair, and a cool pair of sunnies.

Along with Janhvi, Neeraj Ghaywan, Ishaan Khatter, Karan Johar, and Vishal Jethwa arrived on the red carpet. For the unversed, Neeraj Ghaywan directed movie, Homebound, which features Ishaan Khatter, Vishal Jethwa, and Janhvi, will premiere at Cannes. Ishaan, for his red carpet look, opted for Gaurav Gupta and looked handsome in a dark-purple-toned pantsuit.

Karan Johar, on the other hand, wore a Manish Malhotra-designed outfit that included a white coat, and a classy shirt with vintage vibes, which he teamed with black pants. KJo carried a soft shawl to finalise his look, and oh boy, it was a glamorous red-carpet look.
