Jaideep Ahlawat Wants To Steal Saif's Rs. 800 Crore Pataudi Palace In Haryana, 'Very Beautiful..'

Paatal Lok's 'Hathi Ram Chaudhary' a.k.a Jaideep Ahlawat will next be seen in Jewel Thief- The Heist Begins. He will be sharing screen space with Saif Ali Khan, Kunal Kapoor and Nikita Dutta. The heist drama movie will premiere on Netflix on April 25, 2025, and has been directed by Kookie Gulati and Robby Grewal. The highly anticipated movie is already being discussed by cine lovers for the thrilling trailer and Jaideep's dance in the song Jaadu. During a recent media event, Jaideep made an interesting revelation of wanting to steal Saif's Pataudi Palace.

Jaideep has already hogged the limelight with his iconic dance in the song, Jaadu from Jewel Thief. During the recent trailer launch event of the movie, the stellar actor was asked an interesting question related to what would he like to steal in reality from his co-stars. The actor known to play serious roles in reel life gave an intelligent reply and subtly took a dig at Saif's palatial family house. Jaideep, who has his roots based in Haryana, shared:

"There is a property in Haryana called Pataudi Palace. I have seen it, it’s very beautiful.”

Jaideep has already floored his fans with his crisp dance moves in Jewel Thief. He looked dashing in the music video as he donned a suit and shades and gave Vicky Kaushal a run for his money. The actor, known for his serious roles, spoke about his character in Jewel Thief and revealed that in a heist movie, there are unseen twists and turns. In his words:

"No one knows who is getting bluffed in this, so there will be many twists the audience will get to see."

There has been ample discussion on Jaideep's dance moves in the Jaadu song being AI-generated. The peppy number was crooned by Chaitanya while the lyrics were written by Kumaar. Speaking on his dance steps being AI created he shared that he does not know why people are so surprised to see him dance. He shared being from Haryana and dancing in a lot of ghudchadis (wedding processions).

Saif Ali Khan a.k.a the 'Nawab Of Pataudi' has a deep connection with his ancestral heritage property the Pataudi Palace. Saif's ancestral house is situated in Haryana and is the Khan family's holiday home. Reportedly, Ranbir Kapoor's movie, Animal directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga was shot there. Saif, the heir of the Pataudi mansion uses the palace as a summer vacation spot. Once, in an interview with Housing.com, Saif's sister, Soha, also shared that their mom, Sharmila Tagore, takes care of Pataudi Palace's hisaab-kitaab and also likes to reside there. Soha also shared that her grandmom, Sajda Sultan was once upon a time the Begum of Bhopal.

The Nawab of Bhopal rejected a marriage proposal from Iftikhar Ali Khan who came from the Pataudi family. Iftikhar loved Sajda madly and to impress his father-in-law he created the Pataudi Palace. According to a report by the Hindustan Times, Saif's Pataudi Palace is located in Gurgaon. The ancestral home has 150 rooms and is spread over 10 acres. Saif's ancestral property is around Rs. 800 crore, and every nook of the palace has an untold history.
