And here, comes the talk about one of the latest and grandest weddings of the daughter of one of the richest man on this planet, Mukesh Ambani's daughter, Isha Ambani. The Ambanis ensured that they left no glitch in ensuring that Isha's wedding and pre-wedding festivities are a grand affair. Yesterday (December 12, 2018), Isha Ambani tied the knot with Executive Director of Piramal Industries, Anand Piramal. The 'just married' couple were seen twinning in their ivory avatars and wearing matching garlands. What was exquisite was Isha decked up in diamond from head-to-toe! Take a look at a picture:

And now we have a latest update about Isha's wedding attire. Isha was looking beautiful and must have given a zillion goals to many soon-to-be brides that someone so simple, could look so ravishing on their wedding day. But you know what was exquisite about her wedding dress? As per her stylist, Ami Gupta, Isha Ambani had her mother, Nita Ambani's wedding dress as a major part of her wedding attire! Yes, Isha carried her mother, Nita Ambani's, 35-year-old red wedding saree, as her dupatta (as you can see it in the picture), with her main ivory wedding ensemble done by designer duo, Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla! Another picture of the beautiful bride has emerged wherein the millionaire, Mukesh Ambani's daughter, Isha Ambani, is seen walking towards her wedding mandap. The newbie bride walked with her brothers, Akash and Anant by their side, who were holding a phoolon ki chadar above her head. What was further beautiful was that both of her bhabhi, Shloka Mehta and Radhika Merchant holding Isha's hands, as she marked her entry. Isha’s pre-wedding festivities had kickstarted from December 07, 2018 when her stylists and people belonging to the glamour world had started flying in for the pre-wedding at Udaipur. With the celebrations spread over a period of almost one week, have you ever calculated how much the Ambanis must be spending for their beti ki shaadi? Get ready for the shock of your life, while we reveal the total expenditure of the Ambanis! Believe it or not, as per a Bloomberg report, the family of Richie Rich’s are spending around $15 million, which estimates upto a whopping amount of Rs 70 crore for the wedding! And why wouldn’t it cost so much? The Ambanis have ensured that there is no fall-back on the mehmaano ki khaatirdaari! To give you all a flashback of all the extravaganza that the Ambanis did, close to 40 chartered flights had been scheduled for its availability for the wedding. Apart from the flights, the Ambanis and Piramals had booked all the five-star hotels of the city (Udaipur for the pre-wedding) and over a thousand luxurious cars (Jaguars, Porches, Mercedes, Audis and BMWs) were made available at their guest's disposal! After the pre-wedding festivities, the entire troupe of families had flown back to Mumbai, where their wedding is took place at the Ambani household in Antilia yesterday, on December 12, 2018.
Coming back to wedding expenditure, the Ambanis hosted an ‘Anna Seva’ from December 07-10, 2018, wherein they had been feeding 5100 people, three times a day. Apart from this, they had also set up a Swadesh Bazaar (an initiative of the Reliance Foundation), which had showcased “108 traditional Indian Crafts and art forms from all different regions of the country for the national and international guests”, thus keeping Indian art crafts alive.
An official statement that that came from the Ambanis, contained details about the Anna Seva and Swadesh Bazaar. The same could be read as, “As a mark of respect and gratitude to the city of Udaipur, and to seek their blessings for the upcoming wedding of their daughter, the family has commenced a special “Anna Seva” - taking up the auspicious task of feeding 5100 people (majority of them with special abilities) three times everyday from 7th to 10th December, to coincide with the pre-wedding functions of Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal on 8th & 9th December. Family members, including Mukesh and Nita Ambani, Ajay and Swati Piramal, Isha and Anand were present at this Anna Seva function, serving people and interacting with them. The Anna Seva functions will continue for four days, from 7th to 10th December and will be performed three times a day at the Narayan Seva Sansthan, Udaipur."
The statement could be further read as, “In addition, the pre-wedding festivities will also see the setting up of a specially curated exhibit called the Swadesh Bazaar that will showcase 108 traditional Indian Crafts and art forms from all different regions of the country for the national and international guests. Presenting the art will be master craftsmen and craftswomen themselves, who are keeping these traditional arts alive. Creating an interesting experience as also an immersion into India’s cultural heritage. Swadesh Bazaar is a unique concept to encourage the craftsmanship of traditional Indian artisans, especially for a lot of indigenous crafts that need conservation and revival and have been supported by Reliance Foundation over the years. The statement concluded with, “From the rich Kanjeevaram, exclusive Patola, intricate Chikankari to fine Bandhani, exhibits cover over 30 types of textiles and weaves. Depicting folktales and local legends, artists will showcase ancient painting forms like Gond, Madhubani, Phad, Warli and Thangka. Weavers, potters and sculptures from all around the country will make this a mega-celebration of art and culture. This unique exhibit has not just provided livelihoods to thousands of such artisans, but also giving an opportunity to showcase their rare works from every nook and corner of India, for people’s interest, appreciation and support.”
