To mention, there is no solid proof, and these claims are merely a guess, and nothing else. The reason netizens are speculating is that Prabhas will be featured in both of these films. Now, netizens feel that if Prabhas, who will be the lead for both films, had intervened by not supporting the makers' decision to remove Deepika, then she might not have been ousted.

Thereby, the fans believe that by not intervening, Prabhas somewhat indirectly supported the makers' decision. On the other hand, the same report further cited a source, claiming that Prabhas never interferes in the casting decisions of his projects; therefore, he remains away from all such decisions that are being made about the casting, and given these two big projects, he reportedly stayed away from Deepika and the makers, who are there for casting.

Regarding Deepika Padukone's removal from Sandeep Vanga's Spirit, it was reported that the actress had demanded an 8-hour shift, given that she is a new mom. Apart from that, Deepika reportedly demanded a share in the film's profits and wished not to deliver her dialogues in the Telugu language, which didn't sit well with the filmmaker, prompting him to remove her from the movie. It was a week ago when Production house Vyjayanthi Movies dropped an announcement post stating that Deepika Padukone will not act in the sequel to Kalki 2. Deepika played a pivotal role in Kalki 2898 AD and thus, people expected to see her in the sequel to the movie. However, such news broke people's hearts, leading everyone to wonder what might have been the case. Initial reports and speculations suggested that it could have been caused by the actress's demand for working a less-hour-bound shift, similar to Spirit.

Eventually, it was revealed that the actress had been shooting for 20 days before such a decision was made, and it was largely due to her demand for a 25 per cent pay increase.
