Bollywood star, Salman Khan's show, Bigg Boss 19, continues to make headlines as it heads towards its finale. While many strong contestants were already eliminated. What left fans utterly shocked is the recent double elimination of Abhishek Bajaj and Bhojpuri actress, Neelam Giri, making them wonder if the show is truly scripted. In an interview with Live Hindustan after her eviction from the Big Boss house, Neelam Giri revealed that the show is not scripted at all, putting to rest the confusion among her fans.
Many people think reality shows are highly scripted, especially Indian audiences. Still, Neelam Giri, who has participated in one of India’s most well-known shows, does not fall into the former category. When asked about whether Salman Khan's Bigg Boss 19 is scripted or not, Neelam Giri confidently stated that it's not. As she herself believes the show is not scripted, she urges fans to do the same because it’s a reality show and ‘everything there is real’. According to her, even the fights that happened were real.
Neelam Giri was a close friend of Tanya Mittal while she was still a contestant, and this is well known among viewers of the show. While accusations of lying were hurled at Mittal, Giri continues to trust her, proving that their friendship is also as real as it seems. She stated:
“I didn’t research or look up anything about Tanya because I was a little upset after the eviction. But since then, I have genuinely considered Tanya a friend. I will continue to see her as my friend even outside the house. I was sincere in my friendship with her and always had pure feelings for her. It doesn’t matter to me how rich she is or what she owns.”
In another interview with Zoom TV, Neelam Giri acknowledges Tanya Mittal's shortcomings. Although Mittal's repetitive behaviour annoyed her at times, it did not affect their friendship. To quote Giri from the interview:
“Main to kabhi-kabhi thoda irritate ho jaati kyunki uska ek wo hai ki wo repeatedly karte rehti hai saari cheezein aur use ehsaas nahi hota hai, to mujhe usko rokna padta tha."

Following Abhishek Bajaj and Neelam Giri's exit from Big Boss 19, the show has finally found its top ten contestants. This includes Gaurav Khanna, Malti Chahar, Shehbaz Badesha, Amaal Mallik, Tanya Mittal, Ashnoor Kaur, Kunickaa Sadanand, Farrhana Bhatt, Mridul Tiwari and Pranit More.
Given the show's increasing popularity, many rumours have been circulating that Bigg Boss 19 might be extended. However, according to an India Today report, the show will conclude as scheduled after its 15-week run. According to a source:
“There are absolutely no plans to extend the season. While Bigg Boss 19 has been a success in every way, we wanted to stick to the stipulated 15-week plan. There was never any discussion about an extension — we don’t know how it became a viral topic.”
The finale of Bigg Boss 19 will reportedly be held on December 7, 2025. The show is set to air on the streaming platform JioCinema at 9 pm. For those who plan to catch the show on television, it will air on Colors TV at 10:30 pm.
