According to reports cited by The Economic Times, LaTroy Lewis is married and a father of three. His attorney revealed that he plans to fight all the allegations against him with the complete support of his wife and family. Sharing the message, attorney Fabiola A. Galguera said:

"Lewis intends to fiercely fight these false allegations with the support of his wife, family, and my team."

A woman filed a complaint against him, claiming that he met her through a dating app in July 2024. Her attorney told ESPN that the former coach became increasingly aggressive in conversations and allegedly sent threatening messages. Things become serious when they meet in person in Ann Arbor, after the meeting. The woman later filed a report alleging s**ual a**ault and requested a protective order.

The Ann Arbor Police confirmed that they are still investigating the case.
