Laughter Chefs 2 promo sparks Ankita Lokhande’s pregnancy buzz

Recently, Colors TV teased a promo of the upcoming episode of Laughter Chefs 2 on the channel’s official Instagram handle. The promo features Krushna Abhishek asking Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi about a secret ingredient with a Middle Eastern twist. Before Harpal can answer, Ankita enters dramatically and declares she has identified the ingredient, calling it ‘Borkut’. Soon after, Krushna, in his usual antics, snatches it from Ankita and runs away, prompting the actress to chase after him.

However, to the utter surprise of everyone, Ankita suddenly stops midway through the chase and says, “Main pregnant hoon.” Everyone on the stage looks visibly surprised at this unexpected revelation, and Krushna, visibly stunned, turns back and asks, “Wait… is that true?” Ankita blushes and smiles without giving a clear answer, prompting Krushna to burst into the song:

“Aaj hamare ghar mein aaraha lalla hai…”

Not long after Ankita’s revelation, Karan Kundrra walks in, overhearing the conversation to confirm whether the news is true. He curiously asks, “Hain lalla?” While Ankita keeps on smiling without saying anything, Krushna teases the actress again, this time, calling her husband, Vicky Jain, ‘Borkut’, triggering another round of hearty laughter from the cast.

While the announcement may have been made in jest, Ankita’s expressions and blush left fans hopeful that good news might just be around the corner. While there has been no confirmation from the actress or her husband regarding the buzz, fans are already waiting to hear the news officially.

Fans are clearly overjoyed, with one user commenting, “If it’s really, Heartily congratulations both of you, but don’t lie.” While some took it lightly as a scripted moment, others hoped it was a genuine announcement. One fan wrote, “Ankita gets pregnant in every show promo for TRPs!”

Astrologer predicts Ankita Lokhande’s pregnancy

Laughter Chefs 2 has been keeping the audience hooked to the screens with fun-filled episodes. In an earlier episode from March 2025, astrologers Sanjeev Thakur and Sakshi Thakur occupied the guest seats, and Krushna asked when Ankita and Vicky would welcome their baby. To this, astrologer Sakshi predicted in jest that both Ankita and Bharti Singh would get pregnant in 2025. Now, with Ankita’s latest ambiguous announcement, it just adds to the ongoing pregnancy buzz.
