On June 13, 2024, Aamir Khan hosted a grand birthday bash for his darling mother, Zeenat Hussain, as the latter turned 90 years old. Sharing the pictures, Ira Khan penned a long note and talked about her struggle to click her own photos because she was tired and it was very hot. However, the diva also revealed that she chose to repeat her wedding outfit for her dadi's special day. Ira's note can be read as:
"When you’re struggling to take your own photos because ITS SO HOT and you’re tired. But you can’t remember if anyone took pictures and you must show @sereia_designstudio that their blouse looks beautiful on lots of things and you love it very very much! Who said you’ll never wear your wedding clothes again!?"

For their registered wedding, Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare wore a simple yet attractive look. The bride was seen donning a pink-hued dhoti teamed with a blue embroidered blouse and a captivating dupatta. Leaving her hair open, she accentuated her look with a maang teeka, a heavy necklace, and matching earrings. To complement her simplistic ensemble, Ira wore a black watch and black chappals and looked truly mesmerising. On the other hand, her groom, Nupur looked dapper in a blue sherwani paired with brown footwear.
