“Hum aise era mein hai ki hum sab ke paas chahe wo ladki yo ya ladka ya chahe wo kisi bhi industry mein kaam kar rahi ho, unke paas unki career choice ke alawa usme wo jis tareeke se bhi kaam karna chahti hai, jis comfort level pe kaam karna chahti hai, kisi ke saath comfortable hai ya nahi hai, I think they have the right to say yes or no.”
Further into the conversation, when the host, Hassan asked Iqra if her take would be any different if the allegations were proven to be false. She said that they would have to wait for that time then and mentioned that no one can decide beforehand what would happen in the future just based on assumptions. The host further inquired if she would still reject the opportunity if the audience demanded the Khuda Aur Muhabbat’s lead couple to pair up once again. Iqra Aziz then politely requested the host to change this topic.
