Royal Challengers Bangalore's, Virat Kohli joined the megastar on the stage. Now, users on Reddit were not at all impressed by SRK's hosting skills at IPL 2025. They found it cringe and shared that the actor was not at all prepared.

A user on Reddit shared a snap of Shah Rukh Khan and Virat Kohli from the star-studded IPL 2025 opening ceremony. The clash was between Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bengaluru. SRK's KKR lost in front of RCB, but netizens were surely unimpressed by his hosting duties. The Redditor, while sharing the snap of King Khan and Virat, wrote, "Why is it so hard to watch Srk in today's ceremony?"

Netizens also felt that the whole opening ceremony was trash. Neither of those song and dance performances were good. A user commented, "Very lacklustre. As if opening h kuch krna h toh bss kr diya." Another user wrote, "VK is respectfully letting uncle do his cringe. It's like when you encounter bride ka chacha or mama drunk on the dance floor, you will react in this same way." One user shared that there's such an overload of cricket and Bollywood entertainment now that everyone's become mechanical. Even they know that the audience knows that the celebs are in it just for the money. Both great art and great sport require some breaks in between. Even the audience's minds need a break.

The user shared that he does it for money cause he himself said it, but every show he hosts becomes biased and all about his star power. Fans were sent on a meltdown when the stars danced on Jhoome Jo Pathaan. Netizens felt that Kohli wanted to quickly get down the stage while King Khan, on the other hand, looked handsome in a black jacket. He was the ultimate host and Virat tried his best to match SRK's crisp dance steps. Well, netizens even made the script of the IPL 2025 opening ceremony viral and shared that SRK had almost no scope to do anything beyond calling people on stage and interacting. They felt that he could not interact with the cricketers as they are usually shy or do not have a pre-planned narrative. Hence they were super disappointed.
