One of Prime Video's most-awaited animated shows, Invincible, is officially returning with a bang. The fan-favorite superhero's fourth Season has now got a new release date, adding to the excitement of fans. The makers shared the news at the New York Comic Con, where Amazon also dropped a short teaser giving a glimpse of what's next for 'Mark Grayson', aka 'Invincible'. After an intense and emotional turn of events in Season 3, fans are now expecting higher stakes, new villains, and more chaos in the new season.
The third season of the show wrapped up in February 2025, leaving fans on the edge with several cliffhangers. However, the good part is that the wait for the new season won't be long, as it is set to release in March 2026. The teaser trailer gives fans a thrilling glimpse of what's to come in Invincible Season 4. The clip opens with 'Mark Grayson' and 'Atom Eve' sitting amid the wreckage of Burger Mart. The sight sets a dark tone for the upcoming chapter. Taking a look at the sight, Mark says, "Can you believe people used to complain that I could never win a fight?". It addressed the brutal battles and heavy losses from the previous season.
The teaser ends with Mark confidently declaring, "Season 4 is nuts!" In Invincible Season 4, 'Mark Grayson' will face his toughest challenge. There will be a new, powerful villain in the form of Viltrumite leader, 'Thragg'. According to the new announcement, it will be voiced by Lee Pace. 'Thragg' is one of the deadliest characters in the Invincible comics, while 'Mark' would grow his strength, explore his moral dilemmas, and have an all-out war with Viltrumite. Additionally, we will get to see 'Cecil Stedman's secret experiments, 'Atom Eve's resurrection, and 'Damien Darkblood's mysterious journey into hell.
Lee Pace is the new member to join the show's cast as 'Thragg'. Along with him, the show features an impressive voice ensemble including Steven Yeun as' Mark Grayson', J.K. Simmons as 'Omni-Man', Sandra Oh as 'Debbie Grayson', Walton Goggins as 'Cecil Stedman', Gillian Jacobs as 'Atom Eve', Seth Rogen, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, and more. According to Variety, Invincible Season 4 will also feature Matthew Rhys in an undisclosed role, teasing even more surprises for fans.
Prime Video's Invincible is produced by Skybound Animation and is based on the acclaimed comic book of the same title by Robert Kirkman, Cory Walker, and Ryan Ottley. The franchise has already been renewed for Season 5, which indicates the story is far from over yet. The show's brutal action, emotional storytelling, and rich character arcs have been admired by the fans for three seasons.
